AB has to have a exit plan for his retirement and holding on to his shares won’t be his preferred option, I think he will want to retire within the next five years and he is underwater currently and I think his average is high 30’s and obviously he will want a nice profit on that.
I think EnQuest will be sold in 2023/24 for around the £1b mark. 55p a share unless oil price go way higher than they are now. Then it’s anyones guess.
If he has the opportunity to depress the SP and buy stock then why wouldn’t you when you know the potential that’s coming. He couldn’t careless about any other shareholder if the sell or hold, he holds all our cards close to his chest

We are still 65% away from getting back to pre covid and that includes a cash call, more debt, more dilution purchasing another asset worth more than our current market cap.
