The truth is we shouldn’t be debating if Magnus is repaired or not, it should have been bloody confirmed.
It is market sensitive and it is the difference between 19p and 27p.

Come on, Enquest can't keep production rates secret too many people know, its only the small investors that wont know.
Explain why we are at 19p then ! Its not just market settlement holding us down against high oil prices.
I've been here a long time a the pattern is always the same.
We were around 27p when the gearbox failed with Brent around $84 we then fell back to 22p before the TU and oil fell back to wards $70. We then fell to 18.5p after the bad news and we haven't recovered, where as the other mid cappers have moved back up with oil prices to where they were in October 21
The market is still pricing in a production issue, if not then I have no idea why we are floating around 19p.
Any ideas ?

Jan I think we would be sitting mid 20's if Magnus was back to pre gearbox failure rates. If it is repaired and back up to normal rates why are we sitting at the depressing price of 19p !
Something is weighing on the SP and if its not production what is it ?

I can only assume Magnus had not been fully repaired and back to the expected production rates because of the way the SP has performed, The market will know and has priced accordingly. So I'm not expecting a fantastic Update unfortunately, I think its going to be another glass half empty but we are working on it read. Not as bad as the previous one but I also think Enquest will lower its production forecast for this year as well to 45k - 50k.
I think a complete change at the top as L3 said is our best bet now, AB has done well steering the ship through rough seas but its time to move aside .

The trouble is Jan we are the small guy in the middle of the big guys and those big guys just stand back and let us take a few punched before stepping in, The EU should be dealing with this and we should be there as a back up.
