I’m not sure which formations have flowed tbh, I know them and 88e have been at it for years with mixed success (mostly bad lol) but they keep taking more licences. The issue is it’s so expensive to drill a well, if it was cheaper they could be more economically viable.

So average 50 (nb petro capacity is far far higher) when you you start drilling.....this year ?

If you’re gonna drill 50 wells in 2026 that’s gonna cost you 200 mil ( 50 x 4 mil). Feels a very large investment for a company that’s generating upto 350 bpd. I’ll be honest I think people will be disappointed when the jv drops I suspect the investment will be significantly lower.

I know it has the officially calculated reserves but until you put a drill in the ground you don’t know what you’ll get out of it. Ie gazelle ended up being way better than expected but heron 2 is inconclusive. It be a massive massive risk to pump 200 mil into a company with only 2 producing wells despite its potential.

I’m not saying it won’t happen but just don’t see companies taking that much risk. Maybe put 15-20 mil in and see what you get from them 3-5 wells.

Yeah I think so from what I’m understand they are taking the data they have to date and are taking to people around the world to decide if that type of oil/ formation will flow based on results.

It’s all theoretical under the go back in but if experts say to carry on it’s a good sign.

Yeah I got in sub 7 pence around 6.85 pence so technically I'm up already as its selling above this price now.

Due to the cost of these wells what I don't want to see is they abandon this well as that will tank the SP. What I want to see is them going back to the well and trying to make it work. If the latter occurs I should see a nice return, if its the former then Ill loose money/ have to hold on for longer but in the rns they suggested they would be going back so hopefully it will be a good trade. I don't like the 5% chance of success but id be gone well before they finish it so commercial or not ill be ok just need them to go back to it in the spring.

Ive brought back in today, with the placing dropping I cant see it going much lower than it is. Hopefully in the next month or so we will be told when the flow testing will start back up. Hopefully it will be late Q1 early Q2.

Well, the price of oil is relevant to MATD. The more it rises the more money we make.

If Matd makes 350 bpd that’s an extra 2187 dollars a day. Not really much for an oiler, the oil price makes more of a difference for the big oil companies who produce thousands of barrels a day.
