What does everything think the OPEC meeting today will do one the share price come Tuesday open? Oil futures have dropped. Not sure the cut is enough.

Yes seems a big drop on top of what has already been a massive fall. It’s very hard to tell whether this will continue falling through to £9 now.

What’s driving this fall in price? Is there a major sell off on fear of the trading update. Although I would assume haven’t lost 70% already this has been priced in.

Why is the share price falling when the consensus from yesterday’s results was largely positive? I was hoping to see this challenge 60p not retrace further. Thoughts?

MTB, yep but I am surprised the company hasn’t gone under yet and is still operating with ongoing losses. I’m keen to see what happens because clearly some have faith in a miracle here

Now AVN aren’t a listed company will they have to provide any financials to their investors?

Also, SS how are they able to wipe out small investors. If you chose not to sell shares then they cannot force you in to this?

Very interesting to see how this whole situation has played out.

If PI hold there shares how are they kept informed of the share price and what their holdings are worth? Because if I’m a miraculous turnaround the company picks up and the share price moves north then PIs will surely have opportunity to sell?

Does not seem worth selling the holdings at such a low price and rather wait and see what happens when the company is made private in the years to come.

Legally PIs cannot be just wiped out surely?

For all the doom and gloom and relentless figures and calculations expressed on this board the fact is the company is still operating against most predictions from those on this board who have negative views. The ones that matter, the investors continue to pour money into the company and for me this has been happening for far too long without a reasonable expectation that it will come good. It may not, but there is obviously a lot of confidence and not hope in the company to turnaround.

If the consent solicitation process is successful and more funds are raised then surely those involved who I'm sure are investment savvy have great faith / knowledge that AVN will flourish. I just don't see how an investor would pour more money and debt into this company if it was dead.

Thank you for your reply. However, there is a mountain of debt in the background, a share price diminishing despite what seems positive news. I don't really understand where the company is going in a financial sense and how it will overcome the massive debt. If there is no chance of previous highs where do we think the company is heading? Because right now we have no movement in the market.

The company looks dead in the water but what I can understand is why and how it's still operating with no mention of doom? At these levels surely an announcement of which direction we are heading here is paramount? Such a poorly informative company on all fronts.

Hi everyone, looks like AVN is still plodding along... somehow. Does anyone know when we are due the next RNS with financial details? Seems we haven't had one in a very long time now!

I can remember many on this board posting relentlessly about how AVN would not last even into the second half of last year. The numbers look awful as they did at that time but the company is still trading and for me that's the biggest plus out of all this; that AVN still against all the odds and critics remains a trading company. For how much longer I don't know but many that predicted it was dead months ago have been proven wrong. Either way I'm sure everyone wants an answer.

The fact that the company is still trading is a miracle of in itself but now they intend to still be in operation until at least June 2019 it seems with the new RNS. I know anything can happen but they plan to be. Another miracle but surely can't go on like his much longer? We need revenue and lots of it, where is it coming from i am not sure.

What is baffling about this situation is how AVN are still operating. For a company whose numbers are more than grim to continue to operate and secure more finance or time is just baffling unless we are missing something. Why is the company allowed to plough into more debt without any major resistance. There must be something behind the scenes which provides a sparkle of hope?

Not sure what the optimism is about here. The share price is at an awful low. When can we expect the company to dissolve into dust? So we can then put all out of their misery.

As it looks inevitable that the company has been driven to a sad end; when will it become confirmed? And how does the process unravel? Will the BOD release a statement.. because the way they have managed this company over the last few years I'm am expecting even more incompetencd and lack of respect to shareholders who have stuck with them through their ghastly work.

BTB, yes I expected some more positive news of contract acquisitions following launch of H4 especially after it had reached its orbital position. I am not sure whether we have been informed of this yet or not? But that would in itself be good news. I am hoping the company are making progress behind the scene and if I'm honest the fact it is still alive is a positive in itself! I guess we hold on as we have been for the last few years hoping for some momentum or change in the tide because tbh it's been pretty dismal for too long now!

Potential is there but still seeing no contracts coming through or update on the debt crisis is worrying. Thoughts everyone? We are in limbo here. An update on where this company is at financially would help. Don't hold your breath though.
