Haha, nice post tracker2009. And yes I agree with you, how do you manage to drive a business with a great potential in to this much financial turmoil is beyond me.

Well at least we have a date and confirmation that the Indonesian government will pay in full, $20 million odd makes a small dent in the finances we need to raise to keep the business afloat. A few more lucrative contracts by the end of July and maybe the business survives and hopefully a credible long term plan for revenue. Currently, things are a slow.

Cassius and HITS, Thank you for your explanations , this makes a lot more sense to me now. I appreciate your time. This is a forum which I'm sure I speak for the rest of us when saying it gives investors an opportunity to learn, gain knowledge, and make for better investment choices. Unfortunately we have morons who I also believe the majority of this forum are aware of that make unhelpful and hostile posts who in all honesty clearly have deeper issues in life.

Thank you jTIS, what I don't understand is that if you have an average holding now of say �1 share price and the current share price is is 5p so a significantly loss. If after share dilution the share price is still around the same price but in the future the company recovers and the share price reaches �1 again would you have still broken even after taking into consideration the share dilution. I understand your percentage ownership falls but I guess I'm trying to understand how that translates to the price of your holding and whether that you need a higher price to be achieved compared to your pre dilution share price . Or does this not impact this? Sorry I may be just very confused!

Cassius or to the forum in general, how would the share dilution affect a PI holding? Would this mean the monetary value of the total shares we hold falls? If the price miraculously recovers in the long term to our average share price for example would we break even or would we need to see the price surpass our average share price with a share dilution?

WO, you absolute clown of a human being. You are clearly that heavily invested that a serious and significant point made by not just myself but many in this forum has your ass on fire. The company have kept PIs poorly informed and to drop the bombshell of insolvency and debt we had no idea about warrants a more comprehensive plan on how they will fill this gap. H4 is currently irrelevant as reflected in the current share price and as already mentioned below it will be operational in July which does nothing seeing as the company will be buried end of June. Now hop of to the circus because as I explained a company which states in its RNS that is is pretty much a pathetic pile of poo it does nothing to attract a savior to take on contracts or whatever else is needed to plug this financial black hole. It needs some POSITIVE news and if that's in the form of an RNS that's what we need. WO, you are clearly heavily invested so I think it's your financial acumen that needs to be reviewed. Muppet.

It's a shame for the loyal PIs who have stuck by AVN through the torrid times over the last few years that the BOD have treated them so badly in relation to keeping them up to date on key matters. Regardless of a PI losing money here its the way they have been treated in the process which I'm sure is a learning curve for all. The loyalty is not reciprocated and in fact the amateurish way AVN have dealt with this financial meltdown is pathetic. And for all those in the forum throwing unjustified praises to new and old executive members this is a wake up call. Regardless of prior performance they all have their own agendas and from what it looks like to me the company has deteriorated under their watch. I myself am a PI, hence my interest here, but I am glad I sold the majority of my stake with a small amount remaining just in case a miracle happens!

This goes back to a post I made some time ago in relation to the need for AVN to issue a meaningful update on the current state of financials post the last RNS. AVN are notoriously poor at keeping their PIs in the know but as days tick by and no positive news in sight I fear the worse. However, AVN have an excellent product and if they can somehow dodge another bullet than we could see a profitable business. Also some good news on the future would surely help capture the contracts deals it so desperately needs. Let's have some!

Laguerre your posting is irrelevant and unwarranted. Some of us do not have the time to go through every detail of what has and hasn't been covered. And actually what you says has been covered clearly hasn't. Don't bother wasting your time posting when what you say has no foundation. All I required was a simple answer. I assume sales etc will be confirmed in press and also RNS. The lack of such news though is worrying especially as Avanti have put a time bomb on raising the necessary funds.

As we are all aware sales and contract wins are imperative to the future of Avanti. Does anyone have any information on potential deals or any progress with sales as yet? Or when and how will we find out the state of play as the doomsday in June approaches?

WO, maybe you're right here, I hope you are and AVN can utilize their sales team and take advantage of the incredible potential H4 has to offer. I see what you mean by the asset and insurances etc and that a different pitch would be given to customers. I also wonder whether the other satellites AVN have will be made to better use in the next few months. Anyway, time will tell and as PIs although we are in a precarious position we have to hope that our continued support will eventually be rewarded..

WO, I don't accept the debt is not an issue when it comes to taking advantage of the potential H4 has. A company riddled with debt with no definitive and strong statement on how this has been dealt with detracts customers regardless of the capabilities of H4. I would not buy from a company that has publicly stated it is a ticking time bomb (unless debt is addressed in 2 months) so why would anyone want a contract until assurances are met. This is why AVN needs to show a strong and credible response to the debt it carries and then H4 will sort itself out. I hope you're right and I am wrong and H4 fills quickly with contracts regardless. I don't see it however. Like you say the major investors themselves will start pulling the plug if they don't see progress with the figures withwth debt and sales .

I understand the technicals but let's be honest we have been constantly battling with dates over the last few years hoping that one day that date will bring a definite change in predicament so AVN can progress. I'm afraid we are again talking about another date in June and I'm sure when we get there it'll be another date. It was only last week we were all talking about 30th April being pivotal. The fact is this mess which has been going on for a few years now needs to be cleared up before any focus on H4 and it's potential can be realized. And like I said previously it's a shame the new debts etc were sprung on us in the last significant RNS and we are being left in the dark until June to find out whether all this investment and support for this business has been worth it. Its disappointing AVN cannot concentrate on what it does best and it needs some positive movement in the debt side of things before contracts and 100% utilization becomes realistic. Because currently no one will be interested in taking up contracts with a company which issues a statement setting out how it is at risk of being no more.

DoubleU - I agree with what you are saying here but with a cloud of debt not accounted for makes it much more difficult for AVN to attract big contracts. I would have liked to have seen some positive progress with the first part of your point 3 i.e. Securing or at least showing some progress with Solus absorbing some of that debt. The reason for this is that 2 months is not a very long time to attract the revenue and sort this debt issue. AVN needs to show it's still fully in business not hanging on by a thread for dear life. One way to do this would have been a positive RNS with fundamentally solid progress with Solus or whoever else willing to invest in AVNs model.

HIS, it is worrying that today's rns mentioned nothing about what everyone on this chat has been discussing over the weekend re: solus absorbing the £50 million debt. This was the big issue I wanted clarity over in today's RNS. As it has not been addressed I don't think we will be getting any update anytime soon especially with how poorly AVN has kept its investors updated. No news in this case is more likely bad news. We need this issue addressed formally before looking at contracts to ensure revenue meets requirements before end of June. It's not looking good, with no positive news today its concerning.

So... does anyone want to comment on matters that are actually relevant and important here? i.e. my last post. Or do we carry on back and forth wasting time on he said she said.

I thought today was the day we learn if Solus have provided the circa �50million needed to keep AVN afloat and whether there was some positive news on contracts to help with the additional �40million that AVN had failed to mention in previous RNS. Not to mention the D4E swap confirmation. Are we expecting some more news from the board today or have I missed something here? This RNS is about director OO purchases and nothing about the above. This RNS has not even posted on the website under investors tab.

Is there reasons to believe AVN kept the extra 50m loan quiet to first get the debt restructure approved. Now that has been all but signed off they have dropped the 50m bombshell knowing that the creditors are much more likely to step in and stump up the cash now they have a vested interest. What is risky about this is whether any investor believes AVN has the potential to convert into a profitable business after all these debt deals and loans are addressed. Because if they don't believe this and they have good reason not to after the years of mismanagement and astonishingly poor financial knowhow by the company then why would they stick around and lose even more money. Surely there comes a point where enough is enough. Every time a hurdle seems to be overcome another two appear. Now we are left with 3 more as Scotty eludes to. First stop is the debt restructure, does anyone know a date for when this is scheduled to be signed off/rejected? I know end of April is the deadline but do we have a date for when they will sit down and put pen to paper?

Who is entitled to buy into the open issue? And has anyone on this chat decided to do so?

Also, can someone explain why the hell they launched hylas 4 when they knew full well they were in this dire predicament. Is this something to do with being able to sell assets if it does come to insolvency and pay the bondholders?
