Hi HK, my advise is to stay small, learn over the next few months, read the RNS and see how the market reacts. Unless day trading invest for long term but keep some of your £££ aside for opportunities like this one... Best of luck
Not wanting to dampens anyone’s enthusiasm here, but advise to put it what you can afford to risk.I am in with what I consider a sizeable chuck here and also pretty excired about the upside.
Some here I know have balls of steel (even the girls LOL) and I believe they would weather the storm if things turned.
That’s a big 1st post! Personally I’m backing JB, each to their own decisions. Old BoD would have caused slow death, Whatever JBs motives beyond reshaping BoD, this was a unique opportunity presented with risk, many already gained.
Too much director selling offsetting the SP. I’m in here for LT - good co, great model, but it’ll take time to recover. There are quicker gains but at least with NEX there is less risk, I bought too early and then averaged down, money is here rather than earning a pathetic interest in a bank. At least it serves to make my portfolio more diverse
Sunset - you’re a parody of sorts, knock a share your invested in, wind up fellow investors, make claims of doom and gloom, then claim you bought in after a rise, yes please do prove it. In fact no don’t bother, is not worth reading your posts for anything more than our amusement.
Market overall is flat today, this RNS is probably balanced with issueS around economy and Other news over the weekend. Saw NSF jump in early hours and now down, same with MTRO, LLOY. BARC, HCSB the whole banking sector is down and AMGO up 4% - I’d say that’s pretty OK for us today.
So if speed limits changed to 60mph on the motorway next month - would everyone who drove at 70mph in the past get clobbered with speed fines? That’s what the FCA did to offerers of Guarantor loans. And AMGO’s old BOD just rolled over and let them!
