This test requires a sample of blood. More details can be found below.

ELISA Test
This test can be conducted at home (or other non-hospital environment) and requires you to take your own sample of blood. The home test kit contains all you need to take your test at home, as well as instructions on how to take the test.

This sample is then sent to a pathology laboratory for analysis. Once the results are known, you will be informed of the result.

Kenzel there trialling more than one antibody test currently fortress test has already had its trail. I’d expect it to be a different one..

There currently trialing so many different antibody tests.. I’ve got a lab one that needs sending off via gov currently here..

It is the first mass antibody surveillance study to be rolled out across the country using a finger prick test that can be used by individuals at home if given approval in the future. Mass surveillance of antibodies in the population is vital to track the extent of infection across the country and identify differences between areas and different groups of the population.
While research showed several finger prick tests were accurate enough for large-scale surveillance studies to monitor the spread of COVID-19, no antibody fingerpick test has yet met MHRA criteria for individual use, which means none are currently approved for use outside of surveillance studies.

Abingdon has been promoting linkden recently saying news drops there first..

So they have a daily Antibody testing capacity of 120,000 a day yet only 523 tests was processed Monday and 2,500 Tuesday

Either way if MHRA is this week or 4 month time this test is still being produced at over 100,000 per day and still ramping up capacity.

Could be in use tomorrow in every pharmacy/boots.. MHRA isn’t everything.. although it’s likely to come... people just see MHRA and think that’s it. Plenty of other news to follow..
