So the UK helping GAD to produce at cost? (Not for profit)? Is this for tests to be sent abroad or for uk gov?
“ To guarantee access to the rapid test in low- and middle-income countries, the COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test will be manufactured and made available by Global Access Diagnostics (GAD), at cost of production and distributed through commercialisation partners.”
That’s likely it being loaded in Spain... rather than being unloaded.

Not sure if linked to the vaccine yet..?
There’s talk it’s from the nov 2018 webinar that AH did. Unsure.
But looking at who’s posted it/no proof it’s ever
So likely.
Although this is on the gov website (yesterday) mentions antibody testing/repeat testing.
5 January 2021
Updated 'Testing for coronavirus: privacy information – quick read' and 'Testing for coronavirus: privacy information'. In both documents, under 'What personal data we collect', added: 'vaccination status'; under 'Purposes your data will be used for', added: 'sharing your vaccination status with Public Health England (if you live in England) to understand the effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccines, including their effectiveness against different strains of the COVID-19 virus, and, where appropriate, to ask you to do a repeat test and/or an antibody test'.
Till we get proof it’s regarding the ABC-19 test and dates.. I’d hang fire AH validate many products.. and seeing his previous posts on Twitter he’s a mass ramper..
So like I say many have asked for the link and nothing yet..
Be intresting to find it on the AH website as I couldn’t after a quick look...
Possibly also worth an email to walbrook? If no reply from the above possibly he can find out.
This is likely to be talking regarding the RTC test.
“ The finger prick antibody test (lateral flow test) is currently being verified in Wales to make sure it performs well. It is anticipated that this work will be completed shortly. There is also work ongoing to decide if this type of test could be suitable for use at home. We will provide more detail on the development of this type of test as work progresses.
We will also continue to work closely with Public Health Wales, Life Sciences Hub Wales and the private sector to look at all options for testing for antibodies and to scan the market for new tests.”

Mean anything?
Avct up 12.5% possibly on the news of ODX linking production to AVCT according to BB?
Oranolio1 That’s blood spot testing for antibody’s lab based testing same as the baby heel prick test.. nothing to do with ODX.
Current talk that the SA variant will outsmart the vaccine???! Very bad news for many but good news for covid stocks.

“ COVID-19 Antibody Test
On Hold...
This test is currently unavailable as the UK Government (MHRA) have asked all laboratories to pause processing self-collect finger-prick blood samples for COVID-19 antibody testing whilst they undertake further validation of the end-to-end process.
We are sorry that we have had to pause testing and we will keep our website updated as we receive further information.”
I’ve seen this on more than one antibody websites.. I’m wondering if it’s actually the MHRA holding the lot up..

I’d also suggest large orders off Uk Gov. or as above we’d see them for sale on re-sale websites and we haven’t.
We need gov authorisation to sell elsewhere and we clearly haven’t had that yet.. so my take is everything is being purchased
The NHS staff have been rolled out with the Innova LFT.
Currently not heard which schools are provided with but LFT is going to become part of daily life for
Many
Chuggley I agree fully with what you say.. and also this reply of PR backs up the statement..
“ Therefore the use of antibody testing to definitively say someone is immune is questionable until more work has been done to study immunity. You’ll note too that scientists and politicians are very wary of suggesting a vaccine confers immunity. Whilst antibody testing can’t necessarily give a clear signal to patients that they are immune (and nor does a vaccine). Antibody testing can be used for population screening, can be used to check that any vaccine that doesn’t have a 100% effectiveness has created the desired immune response (i.e. created the antibodies) and could be used to check whether vaccine boosters are required (for example if antibodies could no longer be detected). I think most Governments and Health agencies agree that the roll-out of antibody tests to give citizens an immunity passport can’t happen yet until the science tells us more about immunity.”
They’ve possibly come from mologic? Over to Omega..?
Antigen: Sensitivity 96.8%, Specificity 99.3%
Antibody: Sensitivity for IgM 98.8%, IgG 100% and specificity for both is 100%
Downside on the airport testing though...
It’s not our rapid antibody test being used it’s assured’s
Can’t find anything matching spec of rapid antigen on quick search..
Jon deeks slating innova test yet again.
