I've never been very convinced about theories of MMs 'holding' the price of a share but in this case it is so tightly constrained, and for several weeks, that I can't think of any other explanation - I'm sure natural trading movements wouldn't be in such a narrow range would they ?

There's a trade for 40 shares just gone through. Means about as much as the one for 30 shares.

That trade was at 15:31:05 for 30 shares ! - I thought you meant 30p !! There are lots of trades that are for small amounts of shares, this is nothing special.

Ethio don't be ridiculous, it's extremely unlikely they are all buys. Just try and do dummy buys and sells throughout the day and you will often see what is flagged up as a buy is in fact a sell, and vice versa

Why can't you get two speeding tickets ? You could get one for an unexpected sudden rise, and then the same scenario might occur several weeks later. Agree you wouldn't get two over a period of days, but you could over a period of weeks.
