You would be better selling and transferring now as you will be able to transfer a lot more shares at 18p than you will if you wait until the news is released.

Yes it is easy to make money here - if things pan out as we expect/hope. But of course there is always a chance they may not, and this is the risk we all have to weigh up. Every share has a risk/reward ratio. If we get a whole company sale, and in particular a bidding war, then the price is likely to be way higher than it is today. If we get no bidding war but still a sale then a bit less. If we have only a partial sale (i.e. one asset rather than the whole company), then definitely less. If the negotiations fall through and we mine ourselves then much less than today, but probably more in the long term. But I don't know why I am writing this as surely this is obvious to everyone ?

I guess you are probably right. But I never like it if things are 'assumed' to have occurred, i much prefer an announcement that the last remaining hurdle has been cleared. It just seems slightly underhand to deliberately delay such an announcement.

Ethio - this is something bothering me too. An earlier RNS stated it has been approved, just needed a 'routine', 'rubber stamp' from another agency. If it is a routine rubber-stamp exercise how come it has not been completed 7 months later ?

KanakJoshi - yes I remember that day with PYC as well. It was about 1.30pm I think and the price was going up and up to upper 30's I think they came crashing down in an instant. I got out too with a meagre profit but wow if I had sold just 10 mins ealier ... !

GFD of course I'm not going by the trades on this site. I use ADVFN real-time trades but not L2. But the MMs have been showing 19.5 and above all morning and we have had just a handful of trades in that range. Cluelessinvestor's explanation made sense to me : " If people keep selling then that 19.5 sell point isn't reached?" - as we have a constant stream of sells these are satisfying the buys and we have not yet moved into the 19.5+ range shown on L2.
