Just been offered 23.175 to sell 100,000 shares ! I'll stop my running commentary now as I'm beginning to bore even myself.

Not a theory PIface - just doing dummy buys and sells and seeing what I am offered. Whoever sold for 22.83 was ripped off ! Looks encouraging at the moment.

So they should really have moved the bid up from 22.5 to 23.

Now 23.1001 to sell 100,000. Encouraging !

Just had to Google Adriana Lima. Looks a bit of a grump to me. I'll do it for $1000 (or $900 for two performances).

Sell price getting slowly higher - they are now offering me 23.0777 for 100,000 shares.

6 recent trades between 23.01 and 23.03 are a good illustration of what I was saying earlier - they are all showing as buys as they are just over the midpoint of 23.00 but if you do a dummy buy and sell you will discover that 23.02 is current sell price and buy price is around 23.4.

We seem to have moved onto the 23's. two sells of 100,000 at just over 23 and couple of larger buys earlier at nearly 23.50. Currently can sell 100,000 for 23.02.

If strippers can command that sort of money I think I might become one myself.

Louis Roederer is $250 per case so 25 cases is $6250. So $9.99375 million on strippers ? - wow !

But I think JTMacs is the same as you - he simply takes the published 'buys' and 'sells' figures, and they are not accurate. If you look at the trades for the past half hour they are all showing as sells except two. This is because the current spread is 22.50 - 23.50 and most of the trades are coming in under the midpoint of 23.00. However a large number of them are actually buys - all those over 22.9 for example. So you can't use the published 'buys' and 'sells' totals, they are just not accurate.

Ethio - between 09:30 and 09:45 there were 8 sells and 8 buys. So you can't really say 'we are seeing very few sells'.

Ethio, there you go again 'we'll only see buys' . Of the 15 trades between 09:15 and 09:30 9 were buys and 6 were sells (around 22.715) , A healthy balance but not 'all buys'.
