A truck driver is a very important profession and very worthy..but alas I have never been in a truck. I’m afraid I don’t give personal details or brag about achievements experience and my assets on line ..I find it very crass and worthless as I would not be able to prove anything without giving my full identity away …so it’s a useless exercise only pursued by those that have nothing in my book and are trying to big themselves up thinking it gives them authority. Unfortunately it does not it just makes them look like lying braggarts in my experience of on line anonymity posts.

So I don’t believe a word you say because none of it stacks up and if in your mind you have me down as a truck driver ..it really just reflects on a troubled mind..or as troublesome suggest something far worse.

They are now just making random comments and not addressing their previous comments on size of likely settlement that they made …or just how many litigation cases they have been involved with ..a few or 20. 20 seems a lot of litigation for one company unless they were being constantly sued.

I seem to remember Hamoodi had legal advice in Texas pre trial and was considered an authority on the case by LOAM pre trial…and he considered the settlement derisory and explained why. I’m sure he knows a vast amount more than Terry…but most people do.

i've been involved in around twenty commercial litigations as a company director. none as big as nanoco v samsung though.

That reset in expectation may well see the company having to rightsize its cost base to the likely lower commercial demand over the next few years , again that might be something a new ceo might want to see done before joining.

I doubt a new ceo will want to take over until there is some clarity on where the commercial efforts are left. I guess it will be BT’s last job to explain that away before any new broom wants in..no one wants to start and give difficult news..but they will have the previous ceo to blame for a while anyway.

Genuinely happy for there to be a reset and a very open conversation of where the company realistically expects to be in two years and get behind a new ceo to get us there..

In the short term if this chaos leads to an offer happy to consider on the short term merits for some certainty.

He has got the boot and they have spent weeks sorting his package and franming it that he has resigned,,these things take weeks.

And bet he keeps his options as he will be leaving on good boy terms with all benefits,,which he wouldn’t if he had just walked. We will only see the terms in the report and accounts.

Whether there is further news to come above what was contained in the warning remains to be seen but clearly we are not looking at simple delay in getting gen 1 orders again as the apologists tried to spin.

One might have expected a positive reaction if it was just a change at the top , but unfortunately this move underlines there are significant issues with gen 1 and commercial take up in my opinion.

There is no specific reason to believe that should impact gen 2 materials in development but trying to get shareholders on side to believe that strong commercial traction could now be a few years away cannot be told by the same person who has provided so much disappointment against what has been guided to. The board undoubtedly realised that investor confidence had been significantly impacted over the past few years and that there needed to be a change.

So the share price might weaken a bit on the read through.

True…and almost exactly a year from when he convinced shareholders ( not all!) he was the man to lead the company to greatness with tales of CF breakeven. Am guessing the miss now expected on that target is a factor.

I would expect the Chair discussed the leadership position with what remains of the institutional shareholders before pulling the trigger..so woud appear that support has also crumbled.
