Japanese market bit of a crash……tin hats gentlemen. Could be some bargains available short term if liquid.i have triple leveraged short S&P ETFs which should cover market exposure but still likely will see some big volatility.

The buyback should hep stability in Nanoco and unlikely there is much short term punting money in here…it has already been shaken out.

Update from Feb24 on range…

No mention of QDs anywhere but just seems the latest iteration of the one with Metalenz technology incorporated.

I thought the TOF sensors were using matalenz materials under their partnership…certainly was the case on the previous generation of the range.

But as ever trying to tie everything down to the myriad of product numbers makes any definitive conclusion rather difficult.

Alas lobster was not on the menu..always liked crab so happy to indulge when it is on the menu. The way the country and the markets are at the moment doesn’t seem much to celebrate just now ..so no bubbles either !

I have raised the TOF sensor some time ago..I think that particular one …X has done more research than I have on that area and said it was highly unlikely to be in TOF..forgotten why ..but haven’t got time to look back. It might be he thought it was too early for gen 1 materials but if from what was posted that no launch till next year maybe things might tie up…unfortunately most of this is just grabbing at straws.

I think the company along with STM are going to have to find away of being more open..the confidentiality is such that it makes the company look very bad at keeping their shareholders correctly informed ..might not be their fault and there might be good perfectly reasonable explanations ..but currently it reflects badly on the management and clearly has led to the CEO going….IMO.

Totally agree when i was in touch with the company recently over an incorrect listing for one of the new NEDs( had him down as co-chair on the site) they said they were going through and updating the website so maybe they will clear out the old stuff that is no longer an ongoing opportunity ..it does leave a narrow target area. Difficult to know right now whether the rifle or shotgun approach is better right now to try to get commercial revenues supporting the business. But short term they are quite reliant on the gen 1s.

Back to Nanoco and medicinal use of CQDs it certainly was an area of great interest and recieved grant funding not long ago and Nanoco were on the cusp it seems. But like many things now seems to be an area not being pursued. A refresh where they were 2019.
