An actual monetary demonstration of that commitment beyond some relative small r&d work and one small order for Nanoco in materials that took years to develop would be more appreciated than what ai churns out ..but it does encompass much that has been dug up on these boards over years….and it took it a minute!

I have not said gen 1 sensors are completely dead either but interpret the tone and the removal of forward guidance pending understanding the impact as not being that bullish…and they will have to update in Oct if not before if they think the guidance to cash flow break even which effectively is still in place for CY 2025 is achievable ..i didn’t see how it was pre warning i now don’t see how it is possible ..there needs to be a serious rabbit out the hat.

The fact the ceo is walking/pushed whatever on the cusp of what was to be finally turning the business into a self funding venture also does not support a good outcome in my view.

X it all sounds great and i have along with others seen it many times before ..the problem is that led one to expect a product with the QF ( containing Nanoco material) leading to commercial demand in the very near future from Feb 2023.

It then got delayed ..we then got one tiny order ..now we don’t know when/if we get another for the gen 1 materials.

I am a shareholder and genuinely would like to get enthusiastic on them delivering a sustainable and viable business..unfortunately a series of disappointing outcomes and very poor comms knock that out of you ..unless you just ignore the issues and pretend everything is great and going as well as can be, unfortunately the share price does not reflect that optimism nor does the exodus of some of their largest long term holders over the past 2 years.

Looks like i will have to report every contravention of the rules too..

No valid explanations put forward for a 6 week suspension of the share buyback ahead of a profits warning and no response from the company ..time to raise the game.

The peel hint quote in the article was

Well NGR i could go through it all again ..but you would probably try to get anything you don’t like removed…so everyone elses take is now taken down and you put your own interpretation up.

I am sure you have not reported your dear friend who starts all the trouble as you seem incapable of any criticism of them though they tend to be the one that turns personal as they have no arguments when they are prove wrong with facts. Amazing you manage to see all the posts and get so upset since you say you have most accounts posting on block..superpowers.

What didn’t suit is reasoned arguments as to why the buyback was suspended…something the company and its defenders probably didn’t want airing as the light it shone was not good.

Seems the buyback thread has gone..was it because of NNMs continued personal attacks or because of the content questioning the reasons for the suspension of activity ahead of a profit warning.

Maybe the company has asked that it was removed? My experience over this is they do not want to answer any question on the events because it doesn't add up unless Nanoco themselves intervened..something that should not have happened having told their shareholders it would be conducted independently of the company. If they did and the reasons why they might are concerning in terms of what was known and when…and by whom.

The gen 1 sales were to take the company to cashflow breakeven next calendar year so whilst not the scale of the potential for gen 2 they were expected to cover the cost base ..that would likely mean sales running at annualised £7-8m over the r&d work..this was a core target and hardly trivialise sales to a company that so far has sold a few hundred $k in its history.

Tenner was not allowed to sell as there is a company renumeration policy that executives have to build at least 200% of salary as an equity holding…he was no where near..or the CFO. THEREFORE THEY COULD NOT SELL! Thats a fact.

Would those pi’s have put that funding in at 37p if they had an inkling of the settlement the company took? $60m for all past infringement and future use with no fault? $90m of IP asset sales ..never once mentioned until they had agreed it. ..and well below $90m left net net after all the pay offs and bonus’ paid. Not on your nelly…if they had been honest on their expectation they could not have asked the money to keep the company going. ..probably why LOAM and RG didn’t put anything up…and started selling immediately after.

He thing that saved the business was the private investors supporting the company at a crucial point ..the argument being it provided finance to cash flow break even even if the litigation dragged out. Well they took a low ball got through all the money raised and a lot more and still have no idea when they get to cash flow breakeven .

Talk about changing a record terry you literally repeat the same deluded mantra every post…zero originality zero understanding that the ceo has been canned by the board ( and leading investors most likely) the commercial delivery is off course and he has significantly increased the cost base with no commercial revues coming through for now…he saw what happened with Apple and then had to cut costs right back..the same might have to happen again. The company can’t burn through £4-5m a year without a convincing case for commercial revenues coming through before gen 2 hopefully comes through..with no guarantees there either as its still a development project.
