Staff at Nanoco who largely have been focused on delivering the work programmes for the European Customer would undoubtedly be aware of where final validation is , so it would not be easy to keep anything air tight for any period..they must know that.

Troublesome..i get your drift but they are still potentially playing with fire…if there was a leak that validation was effectively done and they hadn’t announced it would be further issues to address..not what they need right now !

I se ISS recommendations out i wasn’t expecting them to support any of the boarding party they usually are supportive of incumbent managements , so them recommending support for one of TH nominees is a bit of a surprise. I think it reflects the lack of independence evident on the board and the need for new independent directors.The accompanying statement on relative experience made me smile as to why Turcan was appointed..no relevant industry experience no litigation experience and only served on the board for 13 months..just got inside the tent to protect LOAM interests and sell their holding down? How very supportive!

Their tone is still tone deaf!

The usual way previously seems to have been to ask LOAM and RG who they want on the board hence the lack of any perceived independence. Needs more transparency in any process and vitally a new Chair to oversee it .

This is a good point , without knowing the vote i believe even of none of the resolutions are successful there will be sufficient support from those who vote to make the board recognise shareholder discontent and make efforts to address it.

They are aware that they ( i believe) are all up for election again at the AGM towards end of December and that without real progress those that support them now may not then.

They are indeed on notice.

The only thing with the validation news is that I would consider it price sensitive as its a positive to the prospects of the organic business and they have left expectation in the market on timing and its importance.

They cannot sit on such information to announce when it suits they would need to inform the market without delay. In my opinion.

Onwards and upwards if they double from here they will be almost back to where they were at the start of the year.

Troublesome we should have the validation on two materials ‘around’ any day now ..last year we had a year end trading up mid August so that should all be super news then it’s a clear run to the first commercial order before the year end . Best position in 20 years I tell thee.

I wonder if the word troll come from trolling through others past posts to try to pick holes because they are clueless in the present ?

QD never had an account then so we will never know what they thought at that moment in time ..a few accounts emerged post the Jan rns all good in hindsight…I can be an expert in hindsight too !!

“Any legal firm worth their salt and Pallas look a bright bunch of London lawyers ( expensive), would strongly advise their client not to put out such a letter unless there was evidence to support their accusations. Some of the stuff around guidance and expectation is factually evidenced. It is far more difficult to prove what LOAM know and whether they were in an advantageous position over other shareholders. The allegation that BT spoke to the “preferred” shareholders , one must presume LOAM the day before the announcement on the 6th ..does smack of whistleblowing as who would know outside those two organisations? As to whether they know if something giving more detail of the proposed terms than was in the rns is another matter and might be more difficult to prove , gain a whistleblower might know conclusively. All you can say that the extent of the allegations is wide and very serious and if the allegations are not supportable then the party/group could well find themselves counter sued for defamation. Again a bright guy it seems and bright lawyers are fully aware of what they are doing and te consequences and must feel they are well supported by evidence. Nanoco has received much correspondence from shareholders already on many of these points and none i am aware of received even an acknowledgement let alone response. Silence is not the best policy when shareholders are disappointed and a share price collapses on “transformational” news that a board has delivered. They are now having a greater fight for their credibility and actions. See what tomorrow brings!
