That will either prove the success of the trading and see SP rocket or show all not quite as good as we'd hopefully and someone's been telling porkies with associated sp plunge..I hold so obviously hope/ expect the former!
Aim is okay if you select gd quality earning stocks. Less so with the miners and oiler. Although obviously the potential for multi bagging is what attracts people to them. WSBN is my only aim miner, I signed up to lse to ask about placing and forward selling as none of my other stocks do placings and I don't understand them very well!
I expect a lull. A rampy ramp around Xmas / ny with some ramptastic rns and then a placing in feb/ March time... BTW I am invested here, but just dislike rampy behaviour and less than truthful CEO's. Probably going to hold on for time being as I'm still in profit and may bail at next rampathon.
That is a good question. Doesn't give great confidence that the spread isn't being manipulated/ held back....warrants from placing at 1.2p as well weren't they? Feel it's just going to sit here till next news when ever that is.....
on the whole im tended to agree with omedome, his/her comments seems to be sensible. especially compared to the bloke who seems to think counting random numbers he wishes the share price to reach has any function. personally i want it to hit £3,456.79 per share....right, now to sit back till it hits that.... 12th is when the paced shares hit the deck and previous posters detailed description of pacing/ forward selling was very helpful. Quite why people keep shouting about a random rise here or there, well I doubt it has any effect anyway...personally I bought in a while back, hovering around break even now, should have bailed when the shares were first placed and got out at 1.10 ish. Anyway lesson learnt, when a placing hits, don't hang around, get out and then wait for dust to settle. Long term, TW been quite on this. IF, and thats a big if, they have separated cashflow to trading and exploration, hence reason for placing, then this stock appears to still have significant upside.....I feel it doesnt have much more downside from around this level so for the time being sitting tight. oh yeah plus mr P has shown to been a lying git...so doesnt instill confidence
So how does forward selling actually work? IF these are buys are they working against the forward sells, or is this actually selling short per say that then gets covered when the the placing comes into effect? What is the longer term implication of this, do we expect SP to come back once the shares have been placed?
