Believe they need alot of this cash flow for future capex / developing Arran so not all available for goodies
A number reasons this isn't where it should be. 1. Recent sell off in oil.people still wary. 2. Current deep correction /bear market conditions 3. General market worry over brexit outcome 4. Has already related a few times this/last year and needs to base out to be a sustainable rise. 5. Waiting on cpr for days, Arran progress, bleo holm extension 6. Waiting on new aqusitions to cement cash flow going forward.
They have been cancell3d. Proper lse website shows revised market cap as does stocko. This site just being very slow to update. Strange there was no rns but perhaps that's not required as they have noted in that rns.
The sp won't increase as a matter of fact but will have to be bid up if people value the company at the same market cap as per tender. Which of course they should do and then some especially with big sellers gone . Believe AA's increase is taking into account the share cancellation, don't believe he's actually bought any extra shares, of course could be wrong!
Just as the majority of sellers are about to be bought out?.....
Well yes if the market believes it should keep the same market cap. It's pretty simple if the company stays the same market cap and there are less shares then those shares will be worth more to keep the market cap the same. Although are the shares being cancelled as such or being bought and held by the company, ie will the total shares in issue reduce or are they just going to sticky hands? dont fully understand how buy backs work....
It's all about taking a big insti seller out that's been dripping sells for the past couple of months. They got in at the start do sitting on big profit already. Good for holders as will further reduce free float and puts a firm support level.
I'd rather they put the cash to good use and expand, exponential growth then. Personally special dividends to me just mean the company doesnt know what to do with cash and doesnt know how to grow any more! I'd prefer 100% cap gains vs one off 5 or 10% return...
400k shares I should add. Not £400k worth! Yeah, keeping hold of the rest here for a while now.
I had 400k but for some reason I can't fathom decided to sell 250k.... Still suppose I still have 150k left. Was in av 19p.
Scratch that! 600k shares I think. 15mill In issue!
Can't remember thresholds for tr1 notifications L+g had 3.9% left at last tr1 aprx 15million shares . Do they have to notify again when sub 3% and then never again?
That's after bp payments /share of production end I assume Scot?
As far as i can see rre is now producing approx the same as sqz and similar profit, al be it sqz grows as bp payments reduce. Yet market cap 85 mill vs 300mill....
If we're ordering market caps I'll opt for sparkies one please. As a starter.....
For reference I've got an av of 19p and saw it go to high 20's then back down to 15 before up to 47...! So would like this one to trend a little better rather than overshoot and then pullback hard like it has been doing.
So you're sitting on 20%+ in profits in a few weeks but not happy? Id suggest a little more patience... target wise. De03nds if you're here for a quick turn over or to see how they put the huge cash flow to use. No knowing where it could or could not go. The price action is very positive in my view. Seems to have lost the big up and downs and firmly happy around the 40p mark and forming a new range/ base to build from. I'd be more worri3d if it had continued to shoot up in an exponential blow off top...hopefully this share begins to change character and stops being so erratic In it's future moves.
Wow some huge trades popping up. Imagine majority of them are the sells that have been holding this down
Yep. Completely agree. A hundred reasons why an insti decides to sell out. Not saying it's a negative for the share just possibly the reason why we haven't rocketed ahead yet. Hopefully once they're done we'll see a good steady rerate. Big positive is they're not dumping the stock and it's keeping tight range so unlikely to drop back hopefully.
Look at the recent tr1s. Imagine a insti is selling down at mo, would expect more tr1 to follow.
