its hard to speculate to which or what will happen first.
RNS by Avacta i the morning and then that blows Boris`s speach.

If Boris is going to make a speach tommorrow evening then I think we wont have a RNS in the morning, The share price will open up at £184 which we have now but id suspect it will quickly rise over £2.00

My gut feeling we wont have a RNS in the morning so we wont deprive Boris of his speech, But if Boris names Avacta then I cant see why the very next morning we wont have an RNS, informing us of the CE marking as it has to happen otherwise Boris wouldnt mention us, I also think we will have some numbers of tests that the Goverment will have ordered and going forward, I would think how many is required from Avacta on a weekly basis.

There would also be a very good chance at the same time we will have the yearly results and an update on Mologics progress.
If the BAMS update isnt in this it wont be long before we see one which will be another huge lift.

Anybody wishing to play games, selling on highs and buying on any dips will be very brave or very foolish
Whether the RNS tommorrow or i suspect Tuesday it will be a very very very big one

Does anyone know the full roll they play, I mean most westernised country’s pay into it.

if Avacta proves Affimers work against cancer, I would think the share price would be far higher than £15.00

The market makers will set a price to open at 8am .
They will have a meeting to see what price they should open at, it may be £2.00 or 2.20 or £2.50 and you will either buy or sell your shares, it then will either climb to dizzy heights or fall like a stone, all depends on what the punters are prepared to pay

Any press in the news by Boris will have every person who buys and sells shares on the stock market wanting to be in on this.

Press news from Boris plus any orders will propel the share price hugely.
Then we have a trading update coupled with end of year results.
We also have BAMS and Adeptrix anouncement any day.
Mologic news as well.

Next week could be a serious eye opener and potentially alot of us on here could end up very rich by friday !!!!

yep im flabbergasted at the share price rise over the last 6 months.
i have no agenda, ive not got a share nor do i want one, i just simply dont think the share price will stay here or increase, i`ve been watching these for over a year, but never bought any,

ive been happy with my holding, ive been lucky and tended to buy at lows and sold just before divi date.

Im hoping this goes down a bit further before I buy back in again. hoping it goes below £1350, if so ill be back in again.
i suppose we all have different agendas, for me to buy and hold dosent seem to hold water, so i try and get in and out for a gain and move onto to another share, but i really do like these, good healthy dividend cant knock the holders in for the long term

yep ive got to agree theres alot of fine people in that list. and hopefully they can turn the company around, but this last 12 months has been a disaster for AML.
the question is how bad a disaster, how much have they lost, and how long is it going to take before the company starts making money again ?
i hope for everyones sake the price today has everything bulit in, and it wont bomb to much, time will tell

To invest in any share you have to look at the positives as well as the negatives, only a fool would fall in love with a share without looking at the possible negatives.
Firstly regarding sales in previous quarters, around the time stroll took over and nearing bankrupcy, Aston were putting together ridiculous deals to get money into the bank, they were offering the vantage with stupidly low monthly payment terms, They was also offering substantially reduced prices to buy a car outright.
I am aware still of substantial reduced deals, which tells me they need cash in the bank and units sold.
Dealerships are still closed which does not bode well for the sales. Hence why we need a trading update and full year results.
Within the last hour a large invester has been asked to leave his directorship and apparently his or their holding have dropped below 7%.
The question is why ? there has been a disagreement of something somewhere, so what is the reason, it will be negative as why would you sell large numbers of shares if this was on the brink of something good.
no doubt ROBGLFC you will spin nothing but positive reason.
Time will tell as results and figures next week

all estimates of ifs and buts,
so we will have to wait and see what actually has been sold

And that was why the price didn`t go up until that buy had been sorted. hopefully should move up a little now

yes I missed the final year end, my fault on that score, but we havent had a trading statement since june of last year which is worrying, I hope youre right in the results are already reflected in the share price but somehow Im not going along with that, I think they will fall but we shall see.

I can not see any quarterly trading statement other than last years on the 13th of may, dont think end of year has been moved about so im suspecting we won`t get this years quarterly figure until may again, its only a guess seeing as we are still in the first quarter and not out of it yet !!!!!
full years trading statement was issued on the 7th of jan last year, the plant has been closed half of that time so cant see in the delay as figures wont be hard to sort.
so we are nearly 6 weeks over the same period last year. !!! why what are they hiding ? if they had good news they would be telling us !!!
the last trading statement aston gave us was on the 26th of june !!!!

how do you know stroll never issues trading statements between quarterly results, he only took the business over 6 months ago !!!!
regarding demand in china not sure where you been hiding this last 12 months but theres been a pandemic thats come from china and countrys around the world are not buying chinese goods, the country isnt doing that well, and dont forget Aston has had the factory closed for half the year, on top of that Aston are trying to pass their cars on for good deals as there are desperate, if they was selling their cars any where in the world they wouldnt be given such good deals to their customers.
this next trading statement is going to be poor and the share price is going to bomb, watch this space !!
