Please forgive my simple query-If garnet are in process of dissolution, how can they be the claimant in proceedings ?
shouldn't the proceedings be stopped unless they provide security for costs?
Does FM know the pursuer is skint, if it is?

As a retired litigator I know the paperwork surrounding a simple settlement can take time . The Must litigation has many aspects and parties and the extension of time for paperwork seems to me a sensible extension to enable an agreement in plrinciple to be recorded in a maner acceptable to all parties . So if I am right and the dispute is settled in all asppects other than being recorded in black and white one might expect a share price bounce, to preced the next bounce when the Q4 result is declared.
Imust rattle my pig and see if I have any spare coins !! Be foolish not to!! Just my reading of the position

Knuttie is a good friend ,not only to me-as he caused my interest in this company, but also to BMN.
It is just that one becomes irritated with silly de ramps and so keeps one's counsel. I know he is still heavily supportive of the company and is convinced of its very bright future. In my opinion rightly so
KN
And, given the apparent 50% hike in fossil fuel prices, how much more valuable becomes storage of electricity = more viable the means whereby= more affordable = profitable to be a supplier/ miner of the essential elements. Just a question of time for the uninformed to catch on
Just my random thoughts

I receive e-mails from Energy storage.
Latest is https://go.pardot.com/webmail/83602/843763886/60e6f5caf1731ca00480f46beeda81554a8a79a17f99d669710a4905d153106d
Seems to me that the world is waking ever so gradually to the concept of grid scale storage and there will be only one winner there . Bit like a dam bursting , cracks appear slowly and then there is a huge flood. Let us hope the flood awaits BE's electrolyte factory being fully up and running. Looks likely to me.

Nonsense Jelly! They are shareholders too! Filtered for the sake of my blood pressure!

I see there is a Directors interview today, banging the drum for their (FAR's)pie in the sky future plans etc.
Oh how I wish our BoD would support their and our company by giving some attention to PR.
At least BMN is in production and does have some ACTUAL current profit to shout about!
KN
Pdub , thanks for the production figures.
Do we know the average price over the period you quote?
Price will not go down following Cop26 and the USA infrastructure renewal plan , so we should be able toguess quite accurately the gross receipt and we have been told the most pessimistic costs figure per ton . Ergo we should be able to predict what profit the company is making-or am I just too simplistic/
KN
So MMs mark the price down.
Don’t let them con you. The future is brighter after that announcement than before
Just my take on it

Some may be Tesla but when there have been a few fires VRFBs will rule the day! S. Africa is, in my humble opinion likely to support home grown businesses-eg the electrolte plant and a certain mining company which co-owns same with the SA government arm. Seems obvious to me that growth will be unstoppable. Reckon this is FM's play too.

Welcome purchase once more FB.

May I repeat that which I said 27th October -apologies if boring but unless Duferco need money for another purpose , why sell their gold nugget in expectancy. We holders are holders because we know , as they will, that our shareholdings will go up in value significantly. If we did not know that , why hold?
My comment was-
Does it not occur to anyone that Duferco taking shares rather than money implies they consider the company a good , rather than a duff, investment.
We who have lived with the ups and downs of the company for a long time know what a glowing future awaits. Does anybody think Duferco would prefer shares to money if they thought they could multiply money better than the outturn they will get from supporting the company we all know is sound. Where could they better invest the money than by backing the story we know will unfold. All that is needed is patience.
Just my view

Is the market sufficiently blind and stupid to ignore the implicit hike in demand for V as a result of Congress passing the Infrastructure bill
1 trillion dollars spend will require substantial steel which means more vanadium demand
Just my view
KN
Thank you LB21 and Daddy BB for your links.
How the market can snooze through suchin your face announcements is beyond me!
It seems that AIM is working in some different universe.
The power storage Green system is here , now and even with COP26 trundling along the world apparently knows nothing about this gold nugget of a vanadium miner
Just my view -the market seem s blind and stupid

Alley ?cat is an exampleof a poster and striong best ignored as per my last posting

While boring you all with my random thoughts don’t we all regret that the silly bickering and insults have driven good supporters and technically knowledgeable posters away from this board. Their departure is a victory for the pollocks and trolls as what we now have is a much less well informed and one might say unduly negative board
Do come back chaps and chapesses and carry on telling the world what a great share this is. Not right that Pdub is left as the sole or at least fairly lonely advocate of the strengths of this great little company. The board is a poorer place for the departure of those with knowledge and brains and useful contributions to be made
We cannot eliminate trolls, sadly but we can and should just ignore them and their string titles and carry on telling the world who might read this board how good the company is. Plea over! Patience guys. I reckon Duferco are here for the ride

Interesting discussion! I was less than polite previously to you Mogwhy, for which apologies-having a bad day I guess.
It is right to be wondering what is the position . It is equally right there are lots of projects around the world which will increase demand for V . Logically therefore it must be right to believe Terry Perles's prediction of , long term , a strong V price. That will deliver profit simpliciter, and the increase in production which is on track, we are told ( and it is one of the few bits of straightforward information we have been given-not unusual for us to have to read between the lines!), will decrease the proportion of fixed costs per ton thus reducing overall production cost , delivering secondary profit .
So , should we worry if the company has debt as much as you say and is running at a loss ? Given such situation is short term , given the very valuable asset base hugely outweighs the debt, given there appears to be a pile of valuable iron ore ( is this corrct?) which could be sold for a substantial sum , given in all the above one is ignoring the potential of BE, given the surge in gas prices has made even our dozy government say today that renewable energy is the way forward-with all these givens one can afford the long view even from my sub-aqua position and be confident that sooner or later the market will awaken to the fact that the low share price simply represents a belting opportunity for those with spare cash to multiply same many times over and those of us under water will breathe easy again. Patience is all that is needed and belief in our BoD who have kept pretty much on course through fairly stormy waters.
It would also help if the SA government could stop fannying about with their absence of electricity situation and award a few blindingly obviously needed contracts to get their power from the sun even at night.
You may gather that while I see the risks , long term my view is this share is a gem.

Mogwhy
I suspect your motives for your series of negatuive posts.
Just sell if you dont like the companuy and spare us your negativity-Or are you hoping to depress and then buy, I wonder
KN

They will increase profit by expansion of production as Fortune has ALWAYS stated, thereby reducing the impact of fixed costs on the cost per ton of production
Patience will be rewarded. Some have reward already-sadly not me-but all who hold will benefit . Trust the BoD. They have delivered already. We have had and are still suffering a pandemic. Timescales have lengthened but the train is still on the rails heading for the promised destination.
