One of my flock of supporters-I guess we will all have persuaded friends and family to buy-rang me yesterday saying he was told by a friend who had had dinner with a friend who was much involved with the Chrome business and importing material from China and who therefore was interested in Chinese manipulation of supply of, amongst other things , vanadium, that the Chinese have been playing the vanadium price down to squeeze other suppliers with the intention of being able to buys shares cheaply and sell vanadium more expensively , in the long run.
Chinese whispers!! I know, but it does seem plausible to me that a deep pocketed Chinese government supported shorter might be playing BMN? And the Chinese do play the long game.

Just received my copy for this week.
Page 60 article has two things I either missed when reading on-line , or they are additional
First is % change in turnover -increase of 6761% ( although I make it 6757%-not arguing)
Makes me wonder how many other companies , listed anywhere, had such a phenomenal increase.
AND although a.p.u. IC fail to give much in depth analysis, in that they fail to give adequate credit for the Vanchem deal in assessing prospects, They say "BUY". Went to press when SP was 24.5p . The increase since seems paltry ( although welcome) given the range of price over the last year. Just thoughts.

Not a lot has changed except the company is larger , stronger, more profitable and more valuable, not that the share price has yet caught up.
But it will and hopefully with V price recovery it should progress nicely and even more so if the B E project gains momentum which perhaps it might as Europe goes greener!

There cannot be that number of folk who have to sell now
So my conclusion- either some folk are mad, given the fabulous results ( thank you Fortune and B oD )-or some fools trying to profit from shorting.

Very dry, Alfa, oh so dry!!!

I too was amused by the (I am sure it was) false sympathy for the thieving disruptive shorters contained in SPA's comment.
What I was more pleased about was they have quietly revised their previous share price target from (what was in my view) the too conservative figure of £0.87 to the still too conservative £0.90- and this when the share price and the vanadium price have been driven down by exceptional behavior by shorters and buyers holding off buying vanadium..
Does this not underline that Bushveld, uniquely is impervious to Vanadium price movements because BE will benefit by being greatly more competitive in its pricing at a time when the world is going Green. An added benefit is that other potentially viable mines will find funding more difficult at a time when Bushveld's resources have proven to be greater than previously Known . I say Known but I bet the BoD had a pretty shrewd idea otherwise why spend money drilling. Proves the quality of the management and when investing that is the vital thing.
This company's fundamentals so ably recited by BBN and RK are fantastic. Hold and enjoy the ride, adding when you can. Just my view as Pdub says and as others say DYOR

Following my 09.40 post I have sent an e-mail to what I hope is the editor of Questor at the DTelegraph saying:-
Dear Mr Evans ,
May I draw to your attention for the benefit of your readers a little known gem of a share which , although it has risen from £0.24 at 30th April to £0.3175 as I write this ( as compared to the 17% you trumpet re 3i Infrastructure, today), still has a long way to go.
The share is at the forefront of the New Industrial Revolution, by which I mean the dash for clean energy and its storage.
If you research this share, and I would not expect you to write about it unless you had you will see that there is a fortune ( forgive the pun) to be made by those brave enough ( although it is a dead certainty)to invest in an AIM company whose business is mining in South Africa.
The share in question is Bushveld Minerals Limited. I suggest you read the attached RNS and comment made by very well researched investors on the bulletin board maintained by LSE (London South East) re this share.
Then I suggest you google “The Bushveld Perspective” -an information source put together by a scientifica wizard who has backed this share for years. Lastly , why not have a drink with John Meyer of SP Angel who will fill you in.
Do not be put off by the lousy figures so far filed. There are about to be filed absolutely transforming figures, whereupon the share price will rocket. It should go beyond £1.00 very quickly.
Matter for you. I declare an interest-I have shares in the company and I simply do not understand the ignorance of the financial press , which so far has ignored this company almost completely!

What appears to me to be the problem is that while we LTHs all know what a stonkingly good share this is, and we are , certainly in my case all spent up already investing in it, the wider financial world is spinning on in total ignorance of the quality of the BoD, the business , the opportunities which lie ahead.
I believe we should ALL , each and every one of us, bombard the moronic/lazy journalists sending them the RNS of yesterday , possibly with one of BBN's analyses and ask them why they are so blind deaf and dumb as to fail to point out to the wider investing community that there is money to be made by buying this share up to and beyond £1.00 (my opinion) . Thereby some of them might encourage more buyers to come in and there would be more money chasing a finite number of shares, which according to Cairncross basic economics would mean an increas in price.
So why don't we start a campaign and report back to the board the people to whom we have e-mailed information so that we can all bombard them-or is that illegal ramping? I do not see it as ramping, I see it as spreading the Gospel!

Given the price differential between Europe and the US, it makes me wonder why people in Europe are not buying the stuff and selling it on to the US. Is there an opportunity here for some traders I wonder?
