Been at ‘the bottom’ for 18mths and these almost weekly 'pops’ are never sustained.

Needs something more solid to go anywhere IMO.

I’ve been here a few yrs and this company has never delivered any significant revenue despite seemingly having great potential.

We all see...

I can see a few reasons (at least) why they didn’t proceed:

1. Didn't see the value or synergy they’d anticipated and/or saw a number of issues in DD of CABP wrt this so decided to withdraw.

2. CABP made it clear that there was no way they were going to accept 145p and so they withdrew.

3. Just didn’t like what they saw in a number of area; contracts, mgmt, potential, etc and withdrew accordingly.

Of course as a LTH myself, I hope it’s 2. but if so, surely CABP could have issued a statement to this effect after they withdrew rather than leave the market thinking it was 1.?

So to keep sane/deluded I will say it was 2. but the mgmt didn't see fit to make a statement.

Well they already turned done 115p from Stonex though that was before this latest news. Anyone know anything re the US license?

Does it matter? If offer is 145p and accepted then we’re done. If not accepted it will drop a but then consolidate and back to where we were - undervalued.

5pm on 7th Nov - just look at the RNS.

This is the problem with GDR. Looks like +ve news coming, rises by double-digit % and then fades away with no news/RNS the next day. You can of course do well by selling at these peaks at the end of the day and buying after the drop.

Problem of course is one day it will actually carry on rising and so FOMO deters PIs from doing this. Maybe best to trade half and keep half as a strategy? Wonder which it is today...

Pls don't mention David Budd - he went ages ago thank goodness. GDR needs to deliver on more than promises and speculation as it did in COVID. Hopefully going fwd positively now and I’ll get back above water but concerned still really a 'trading only' share.

CABP surely?

Not so sure - current prediction and thus priced in reduction is 60% on a .5% cut up from 45% a few days ago. If it is only .25% I think it will be flat and .5% will see a small rise in the market. IMO.

So THG is fundamentally undervalued and needs a Starburst and Bear hug or maybe a Wolf pack.

I wonder if they held it back till after results out of the way? Probably crediting them with too much as the communications (or rather lack of) generally do seem weak.

That’s a good point - not all revenue concentrated in one place reduces risk/increases valuation 👍

CAB usually exhibits leaks a day or two before results/RNS so as it’s petty static I’m thinking no surprises either way atm.

And % concentration way lower than Itumba on all bar one.

Yes I think the time is getting near now to give up waiting for anything decent wrt the SP and invest elsewhere. In the unlikely event anything does happen can always jump on it then.

No visible Chairman and I can't see MM being able to address the undervaluation and as long as he’s there his baby is doomed to have a low valuation. Cross with myself that I sold my conservative investment in RR at 1.50 (3x since then) for the 'exciting potential’ of THG as it seemed to have more upside...

Interesting whether a post result recovery with all out in the open now or whether US license coming through. I’d suspect the latter supported by the former but we’ll soon find out I guess. Ether way very

IMO when a share trades like this before an event it means the event is not going to be either as expected or as good as expected. Happy to hold this for a while but my experience of GDR over last 3years (a lot in the terrible non-delivery Budd era) is it usually disappoints in this respect.

If it picks up in expectation later this afternoon I may sell up as already well into profit having averaged down well but was hoping to try and recover some of those ’10k’s of Budd losses’.

Great to see the SP back at 11p so quickly - says a lot for the market view of the company and also a smart move by the CEO. As the AIM market improves going forward (we all hope) it would be great to see us LTH’s back above water after the tumultuous times of COVID.
