Looking how they try to assemble the machine at 21:45 gives a sense of the complexity of the task. Those machines are extremely heavy and not easy to maneuver and It will be quite a challenge to do it in a limited space deep underground without causing any damage......

Just to clarify, he actually said "it is being built" in his comments. It has completely different meaning than "it will be built".

I can't wait to read about ST2 deal to be honest. I wish I had more money to invest now too, this is really happening and soon SP @ "thirty something" may be a distant memory.

I didn't even consider MHF, roads or office buildings etc to cause any issues....I mean how difficult is that? It's fairly basic to be honest. The most advanced elements of that projects are shafts / tunnel. To be frank, the rest should be a "walk in the park" especially when you have such a great budget in place.

The only real danger in my opinion is when the project is mismanaged. If that's the case then you can even have a 1 year delay when building a detached house, let alone a mine........and you can't help it. Thank God we have a really decent team of professionals supported by great contractors in place and no signs of mismanagement, waste and lack of competency so far.

The weakest link in almost all cases is human, and you have idiots killing hangover and trying to "survive the day" instead of focusing on safety on all construction sites. There is not much we can do about it i'm afraid :)

Let's add an earthquake, asteroid hit, the deluge, finding underground lost city and Norwegian invasion from the north to the list of potential dangers then too :)

Just kidding...They will be fine. It's not as difficult as we all think and those guys know what they are doing. Not all the projects are delayed. I'm not saying it will all go flawlessly but in the same time i don't see any particular to be concerned about. Basically they have to sink a shaft (done hundreds times before) and dig a 20miles worth of industrial grade tunnel.....I know I'm simplifying but come on - considering the team, combined knowledge and experience, and funds (hopefully debt only!) they are more than capable of completing it. And if somebody gets injured - well, it happens everywhere but shouldn't have a major impact on the project as a whole.
