Lefkosia - a Lucky 31 is a bet were you pick five horses instead of four as in a yankee or lucky 15. The difference is that you get money back for just picking one winner while with a yankee you need two horses to win/place. I find it a "cheaper" option as I usually find around a dozen horses I like so will do two lucky 31 bets so that I can pick ten of them... most days I usually get a return (not always a profit).
