20york - yes will be putting them in a yankee lunchtime Lefkosia agree about tipsters showing odds far higher than the eventual race. However if you place 3-4 favourites or low odd horses in a yankee you can still get a good return presuming they all win/place. I tend to do a yankee of favourites/second favourites and a yankee with higher odd horses but we all have our own methods and I agree best to take a break or review your betting selection methods if on a losing run. BBC was showing Clear Focus as winning the 235 at the Curragh but when I looked again he was placed second so not sure if there was an stewards enquiry? emblaze1, none of us have a 100% record and we all have bad runs... that's why I tend to do Yankees or lucky 15/31 as getting one or two horses to place out of five usually means you get most/all of your money back and can turn a decent profit if 3-4-5 win gl

Lefkosia - tbh I just read the tips and look at several websites like OLBG.com to ascertain which horses are being backed and Empress Ali stood out. No magic formula.. WELL DONE Harry for Roadie Joe - what a race!! Made it on the line... that's why I love watching horse racing (whether I have a bet or not).. you NEVER know 100% what will happen - the 4/5 favourite simply ran out of steam! Thanks Harry - got Appleberry at 25/1 and I think the race has 4 places so fingers crossed. Favourite won the first at Newmarket (not a surprised) and thankfully Skybet had money back if fav won so good start to day..
