Lefkosia, thanks will look tonight - i use 3-4 twitter tipping websites plus olbg.com were anyone can put a tip on and some (like Harry) appear to have more knowledge than others - hence were i pick up the horses being well backed... worth a look too gl

Lots of choices today - my old favourites SAVE THE BEES and DIVINE running at York but at long odds. YORK 2.00 Flying Pursuit 12/1 is being tipped with several papers YORK 2.30 DISTAIN has a good chance and for a long shot EURYSTHEUS 25/1 YORK 3.35 Showbizzy 10/1 (Comment I noted was that Fahey's horses have been winning recently) YORK 5.10 FIRST SARGEANT 10/1 At DUNDALK 3.45 MORSELLE and long short ICE MEISTER 12/1 4.15 NORVILLE and 4.50 COACH BOMBAY Finally at FONTWELL two favourites that should win are WEST END and LOW KEY

Yesterday was indeed very good - lots of well backed horses and favourites winning.. also had Twilight Son in a L15 which boosted winnings. That's my system (anyway) - doing L15 or L31 as you only need 1-2 winners or places to get your money back... I agree that I am sure we all know our limits here - I usually do 2-3 L15 per day and maybe a football bet and that's enough - my problem back in the day was slot machines and gave them up long ago! GLA maybe will post a tip or two later

Lefkosia, I agree - no one has to read the tips or bet on the tips - ditto share investing. However I know from experience that it's a fine line between fun betting and it becoming a habit that takes more money from your budget that is advisable - so I do have the odd break. (which seems to work because a few days off and I seem to be able to pick winners again) GL - seems like JACK HOBBS is a cert today but have done FIRE FIGHTING e/w

Also noted the following with decent odds EPSOM 520 Freddy with a Y 8/1 ROS 525 Vasoni 8/1 (four places) and NEW 440 Me and my Shadow 10/1

Thanks all and for todays tips Harry. Not been to the race course but Chepstow is a lovely place to visit. Agree so many races and poor weather makes it a minefield today and sure to be some outsiders winning. One horse at good odds I have seen being tipped is RIP 530 Kay Gee Be 50/1 who has a decent record at Ripon and is down in the weights according to the tipster. GLA

emblaze1, I try to look at 4-5 different sites (some are on Twitter) and a) see who has a good record - some go though good and bad patches and b) which horse(s) is being backed on a number of sites gl

Noted a couple of horses being well backed on tipping websites. SOUTH 320 Royal Craftsman 14/1 STRAT 240 Top Chief 5/1 and finally STRAT 410 Nicky Nutjob 40/1 (small e/w bet)

Lefkosia, Liberty Rules might be worth 50p e/w at 50/1.. BELL races look interesting - paying 4 places for 510pm and 545pm and like Tsar Paul and Cash or Casualty both at 5/1 gl

Hi Lefkosia, I suppose it's just impossible for an animal like a horse to be able to have its leg plastered and to keep still for weeks on end - it's bad enough for us humans! I hate Sunday racing -- Ribbons faded near the finish :-(

Harry, Good football yankee thanks (although I "hope" Middlesbrough do not win because they are playing my local team Bristol City) Going for Clondaw Warrior/Earth Drummer at York today - so many meetings so focusing on Sandown and York and might go off to Bath tonight - have a great weekend
