In my opinion innovation and fair trade are forces that improve peoples lives.
The two Rwandan bean farmers below could not sell their produce on the international market due to the lack of access to capital and trade finance. Thanks to the innovative non credit approach of TradeFlow Capital Management these farmers are exporting their beans and receiving the world USD $ price which is 5.5 times higher than the internal Rwandan Franc value.
This resulted in 1) Their children now staying at school until they have completed their education. 2) They have saved money so crop failure no longer equates to starvation 3) They have invested in farming techniques that are better for the planet. Supply@ME Capital plc is a fintech powerhouse with a non-credit approach that is helping companies find freedom in the same way as the farmers below. The ICC has many outstanding initiatives to promote growth, reduce poverty and carbon emissions. One of these programs is their partnership with Tradeflow.
I am very proud to know and work with Tom James Alessandro Zamboni John Collis Stuart Nelson Daniel C. who are driving innovative change through the whole supply chain. I havent met John W.H. Denton AO but we admire his strong, erudite and principled leadership.
