With the Rolec connection to the marine industry....would EV apply to boats ?.... we are assuming cars for the Ch2arge system ......I know that electric powered boats are becoming more popular ....so maybe a marina based application for a Ch2arger ?....some of the lake district water way activities are electric only powered boats ....

Quite clearly any potential customer interested in using an AFC fuel cell for high kW performance will have their own strategy for supplying the required hydrogen ....stand by generators and mobile generators will be supplied with hydrogen tanks or ammonia tanks .....that's how I see it .

BumbleB....With no mention of ALKAMMONIA in the report.....would the cracker have been returned to ZFB after completion of project or will it still be part of the longevity trials?

Nice to see Dunsfold Park Development get a mention (major construction project in Surrey).....quote from Mr Bond..." AFC Energy is well-placed to enter this market and is working with our partners to use fuel cells in place of diesel gensets for a major construction project in Surrey ".

May well be one of the reasons to have the AGM at Dunsfold ......to show off the advanced design details of this project...and the EV charger ....and the containerisation plans.....

After waiting so long to achieve PLACE..... it did not even get a mention!......but what we did get was some new terminology to deal with ......we now have the RAF.

This is the GenCell fuel cell we are discussing......NOT the AFC fuel cell .....just to clarify.

BumbleB....So potentially one of their back-up power systems may need electrodes replacement every year .....on a system that may not even have to run .....maybe for testing purposes only.....mmmm ....not very cost efficient.

BumbleB .....It would appear that there has been no independent verification of any of their fuel cell data.....no longevity testing ...no performance figures....only their own claims......maybe PeterPerfect can clarify this...

PeterPerfect .....Do we know who is funding GenCell ?......have any of the 800 fuel cells been installed in Africa yet ?....did the Israeli hospital actually buy their fuelcell or was it gifted ....charity work sort of ....just curious ...very clever marketing tho....

Maybe not the big RNS everyone was hoping for ....but good news none the less....AFC will always be in R&D...they have to be the hydrogen market is moving so fast with technology changing daily.....getting the product to market is almost out of AFC's hands ....the wait for their partners continues.....DeNora ..Southern ..Dunsfold ....

BumbleB.... The PureCell Model 400 System, which supplies 440 kilowatts of clean energy. With power resiliency as a core product feature, Doosan fuel cells have provided customers with continuous combined cooling, heat and power (CCHP).....just their own reference to the system.

The cost per kW would not have been on the agenda ....with Babcock's strong Scottish engineering heritage....and Aberdeen's link to the North Sea gas industry.....there really was not going to be any other outcome ....in my opinion.

SonofaGun..... good question but I doubt if anyone will know the answer ....Doosan Babcock fuel cells are CCHP ...totally different to AFC fuel cells....and use natural gas or bio gas as feedstock and reform to Hydrogen...this contract was awarded over 2 years ago and I do not know any other companies who may have quoted.

Delays at SoutherOil haven't helped......Delays in Dunsfold Park Development haven't helped...AFC are waiting for answers just as much as we are ....

Without a contract with DeNora AFC still cant factor in the true cost for PLACE......I feel sure this is why we are waiting DeNora are key to commercialisation.

TheHare..... I would consider myself as a genuine investor......nearly 10yrs and a lot of cash later....I am comfortable and confident.....and will not be selling.......I understand the technology involved and the difficult hurdles that AFC need to overcome to be globally competitive......I do not think that all the delays are the fault of AFC ....how many potential clients have let them down ?...i feel there are some people here that simply invested on a whim.....unlucky.
