what you write, will NEVER gonna happen at/with AFC Energy. This company will disappear from the surface very soon! "
In response to that post i started a thread titled n888 @ 9:46 ....... within minutes guess who replyed ....Thats right DW himself took offence to my post to n888......he doesn't post much but it is often with the same hatred for AB /AFC .....I rest my case ......
Well haggismchaggis1 got yesterdays prediction correct .....Kier are indeed on the Plymouth Crematorium build ...https://www.kier.co.uk/media/news-releases/work-underway-on-brand-new-plymouth-crematorium/ ...Although the drone footage from that site ...even with my alleged " rose tints on " no Power Tower is visable in the flyby from February 2023......if anyone can spot the Power Tower could you please point it out..... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e9mtAgWigh0

There will be some interested posters who will not have seen your link ....i will repost your link and hope others do the same ....this is important... so we can all analyse the video and play spot the Power Tower . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e9mtAgWigh0

Can we see for certain when the Kier trials actually started ?....When Chris Lilley made that statement it was in anticipation of said deployment .....it was never confirmed and has never appeared on case studies on the website or photos on twitter /linkedin as is normally the case .....The impression i get from this latest RNS announcement is that the Kier deployment has only just begun when stating " sucessful comolettion of first deployment " .
From the RNS update 9th March ...... " Successful completion of first Kier H-Power Tower deployment at Plymouth construction camp " ....The use of the word first is interesting ......is this meant to suggest that there will be a 2nd... 3rd or more systems deployed with Kier ? .....also when added to the next paragraph from the same RNS .." coupled with a growing pipeline of deployments contracted for 2023" .....how do others read this ?
The 20kW -100kW Power Tower variant has been on the website for 10 months in the " coming soon " section..... So will this variant likely to go on trial or will it have reached a satisfactory level to go straight to market ? https://www.afcenergy.com/our-offering/technology-products
m3ggiesdad.....If you read the post from DW @08:18 you will see why i was asking for a link ....we have seen that linkedin page......AFCmention film-sets on the web site as a potential application.....so maybe some traction in that area ?
Thanks for that post Daz9643...... You managed to cover a lot of ground there ....topics all worthy of some debate ....at this moment i just asked DW to forward the link on AFC targeting the film industry .....something i seemed to have missed and would like to have the chance to form an opinion .
DW ...... AFC delivered at the time a system that was built to Extreme E requirements as you well know ......Extreme E have moved on from that original format and now require significant upgrades in power that they totally underestimated at the start of the 1st season racing ...the cars were using so much battery power they needed to lower the power output of the cars ..... the drivers hated racing at lower power .....they now want to introduce an H2 series next year ...so more paddock power needed ...more racing and will be introducing public spectating...... Extreme E were often asked why they use so many gensets ....simple they totally underestimated the total power needed to run these events ....Extreme E needed to find a new solution....seems they have done that .....AFC can now concentrate on more pressing matters.
I had felt from the outset that St Helena and the " Not Electric Yet " was the ideal candidate for a AFC fuel cell retrofit ....with Riccardo doing behind the scenes planning ...... hmmmm.......with what we have just seen from Extreme E is that still possible ?
Ocean Infinity vessels will be using PEM fuel cells .....i think this is the research paper for that project ... https://gtr.ukri.org/projects?ref=10007021#/tabOverview
AFC have been working on this project for over 20 months now .....the approved design will be for a new build or for retrofit projects ......very flexable .....i am sure VARD could announce orders without breaking any possible NDA's......with the amount of companies and individuals involved in these builds it is virtually impossible to keep the project secret although the beneficial ownerof the vessel my well remain hidden ..... there surely must be news that is not being passed on ....from the original RNS December 2021 " AFC Energy has been working with VARD, ABB and ZeroCoaster partners since June 2021 with the emphasis on integrating a modular, containerised Ammonia cracker design from AFC Energy, alongside the Company's proprietary high energy dense "S" Series fuel cell technology to create a fully marinised power generator fuelled by zero carbon Green Ammonia. The design is capable of both retrofit and new build craft "
Original RNS Notificaton December 2021 .... https://www.lse.co.uk/rns/AFC/selection-for-zerocoaster-bulk-cargo-ship-design-p1e4c90y0ilx2pi.html
From the Year End Operating Statement December 2021 ..." VARD ZeroCoaster design incorporating AFC Energy's AEM maritime solution with ammonia storage and cracker awarded by global certification agency, DNV, with AiP, unlocking potential for the design's commercialisation across maritime sector " ...
