Great fing Jimmy, thanks for sharing. Another dot joined and we must now be close to the consortium update on Project Nour. Our Mauritania acreage becomes more valuable by the day and Soc Gen seem to fit fit nicely into what will be announced very soon - I hope.
Anything over 8g/tonne becomes very lucrative to mine. This is a sensational and unexpected uplift to the value of Zeb. Let’s see how the market reacts. Maybe 10 years of waiting will eventually pay off. Good luck all very long suffering LTH ers.
This is like old warriors showing their war wounds - and we have plenty to display. Nimrod was like a stiletto through the ribs. We were led up the path and then had our feet pulled from under us. Many were left bloodied by that massacre but have risen to enjoy this new dawn. Onwards Chariot, this time we will succeed - hopefully !!
Nordell, I’m one of those LTH ers and don’t see myself in the least bit as more deserving. In fact, the prices I bought at and sold at and bought again over the years are standing me in pretty good stead right now. What I, and maybe others carry, are the scars of the journey that was turbulent due to poor management, poor decision making and poor communications. The memory can’t be wiped but the outlook certainly looks more rosy now than it has for the past 8-10 years. I prefer to think of us as well travelled rather than more deserving.
Surely this 75% award strengthens our hand with the farm in negotiations that must be happening right now ? It’s a dot we always thought was there, but a big one that may point to a load more dots that make up an increasingly valuable picture. Bring on the Cenkos note and the lab results. Dreadful events in Europe but it’s an ill wind that blows nobody any good.
BTB - are you serious ? The results will attract a partner and they will have to pay for the privilege. There are expressions of interest from debt funders, which you can bet are being developed as we speak. A placing is most defo NOT on the horizon IMHO.
Morning Froggy.
Ignore the bashers on here, most won’t have been on the same journey as you. I hope this is making you, and us, a couple of quid. Stick with it, I thinks we’re only just beginning. Good luck to you bud !
Surfit, Ive been here 10+ years and have the scars to prove it. The current CEO, Adonis Pouroulis, took over from Larry Bottomley mid 2020. Since then the company has been transformed. I have the utmost respect and trust in this board - I have met them all. They hold a significant stake in the business and are moving the company into uncharted territory with innovation, ambition and an ability to deliver. They meet timescales, make tough but objective decisions when needed and have put Chariot at the forefront of meeting the African continent's energy needs for may years to come. The transformation has begun and this year will be very exciting indeed - IMHO.
Still clinging to the wreckage. Not much point in doing anything else after 10 torrid years.
SF, if appraisal well 2 does discover the prospective volume in C,M &O sands , it will be 543bcf of gas !!! Think about that. If the re-entry proves again what’s there in A&B sands, that’s 362bcf. A&B are 100% chance of geological success, less so in the unproven C,M&O sands. Bearing in mind we will probably have a big reveal when all data from both drills is known, there would have to be something hugely unexpected to leave us with no production potential and no good news for the market. In between the two drills we are scheduled to get hydrogen partnering news. I fully expect that to be good news too, and that will be revealed probably before we get the appraisal wells update. All IMHO of course.
