I’ve migrated from seething to angry to grumpy to accepting to mildly positive. AP came to the table and explained. I’ll stick with it but not take up the option. One way or another, we were never going to get a free carry on the next phase. It’s now a poker hand where we’re paying to see what Anchois has got. Good luck to those who stick around or join in.
I won’t be taking up my allocation either. If AP can’t attract a commercial partner on better terms than this, then he ain’t going to attract me. However, I’m not selling either. After all this time, what’s another three years to wait ?
I wonder if those who have successfully predicted the drop in SP during this news void would care to speculate on the increase when the expected news lands ? Or do they think this is a terminal decline ? They won’t rise to the challenge because they’d feel daft having a positive outlook on ODX after so much schadenfreude.
Now we can see why the chief CK basher is constantly at it. No doubt TB had the same on the RMS thread. Poor timing and poor decisions are always someone else’s fault. D’oh !
Great post Sensetalka, reminds us that the UK is building a diagnostics industry to lead the world. Puts the short term ‘today’ ‘this week’ doom-mongers into context. All will come good here soon enough. GLA !
Great to see some very powerful antidotes to the crap the derampers have been coming up with day in day out. They won’t like any attempt to swing sentiment back to positive - but most silent LTHs can see what’s coming.
This is great news - proof that our antibody product is in professional use to test the results of the vaccination programme. Surely this will support the wider scale roll out as antibody testing becomes crucial to preventing and predicting a third wave ?
One way or another, this news vacuum will be filled one day, sooner hopefully rather than later. But I’m not nervous if it’s later. The longer it takes, the more likely the news will deal with significant developments, maybe on multiple fronts. If all was collapsing around us, I think we’d have been told by now. AP said he was determined to get good value for shareholders. Farms ins won’t give a quarter easily and a Mexican Standoff isn’t always a bad thing. We can only capitalise on Anchois once, and the deal has to be right for the BoD. I’m happy for them to let us know when they have something they’re happy with. In the meantime, the SP is holding up well. I’m going nowhere - I’ve nowhere to go tbh. Good luck to all.
Freedom of speech is a right but it goes with responsibility. Anyone who expresses a view that they wouldn’t be surprised to see the contract withdrawn, without any further reason or justification for having that view, sounds irresponsible to me. But yes, you do have the right to say it.
Almost every index world wide is down today. I’d be very surprised to see ODX buck the trend without news. Best to buy or chill - NOT SELL !!!
For me, it’s not a question of ramping on old news or deramping on no news. It’s about patience and waiting for news. In the meantime, the share price can go where the market takes it. The silence may frustrate many but the fundamentals haven’t changed. If they had, that would be news and we’d be told. Imagining positives or negatives may pass the time, but that’s all.
It might be that the negativity spouted by some on here has made people reluctant to engage. I’m confident and happy and going nowhere until news breaks - whenever that is.
I don’t think I’m being played. I hold a heap and I ain’t selling until I hit my target price, which is more than 3x where it is now. The crew who predict doom and gloom are no wiser than those who predict 10x multiples. If you believe in the fundamentals, you hold for the orders and re-rate. If you don’t, you ship out. Worthless rhetoric from some on this BB will not sway the vast majority of well grounded investors. The craik is amusing but must be very time consuming for those involved. My advice is to take a step away. The SP will not be affected and you’ll all get some of your lives back.
Timing is an individual decision. Some may need to go but if not, now seems to me to be a bad time to leave unless you think the imminent RNS will be bad news or you have an alternative that you believe will bring a better short term gain. No way I’m going anywhere, despite the frustration. CK can only tell us news when there’s news to tell. Sit tight, every day is another day closer.
Amtech raises a good point re trust and Zorb. Just for clarity, is it right that when #Zeb is floated on TSX, JZ will no longer be able to control URU the way he did before the assets went to BRC ?
Well said Benny !!!
Good to see some familiar old names here. All my shares have been stuffed in the bottom drawer for the past years. It’s become a running joke that one day URU will pay for something imaginary. Maybe there’s a touch of reality now but still a very very long way to go for me.
Greek, you are spot on. I too am deep underwater and need a 9x multiple to get back to even. Great if that happens, but if it does I will be wondering what might have been if I’d had the courage to add a little more. The one bit of better news is that JZ can no longer use all of the asset as solely his to control. All LTHs have suffered under his ownership but there is now a glimmer of light. Just hope it’s not a bloke with a torch bringing more bad news !
Made a final top up before news drops. GLA
I think you’re right re the aspirational dates LW. However, if these are part of a fluid timeline in a business plan, and there was a change to the plan as a result of significant slippage or worse, I would expect that would trigger an RNS. Thank you SHC and BRV for being proactive in taking our concerns forward. I’m still happy to wait, thanks to your updates, but will now have confidence in making direct contact if I get edgy.
