Well of course I cannot definitively answer that question, however I have been invested in this company since it came to the market.
My position in the company has grown over the last three years of development most notably in the last 6 months.
My short answer is yes to believe in delivery and let's look at the possible reasons why.
This company is fundamentally about electricity representing (70-80%) of product cost and as importantly about constant flow of electricity so that a 100 year proven reliable process can be used to make the product. Haber Bosch over PEM is cheaper and more reliable so hydro is the solution.
So abundant constant very competitively priced electricity close to source and market in a stable political, economic and western thinking democracy puts Paraquay at the top of the list.
Quite simply if ATOME without really any requirement for subsidy cannot make this work WHO CAN ?.
A company that's directors and management are very familiar , positioned and aligned within the hierarchy within Paraquay.
An off take agreement with a global fertilizer company at the forefront of promoting green fertilizer initiatives putting their name to the project
Directors and management aligned with shareholders
A senior management professional taking on a position within the company recently giving up an established role within a fortune 500 company
Stated ever increasing multiples of over subscription of both debt and equity
Stated better than expected rates
etc etc
Yes it's somewhat frustrating about the delay but I can see no reason why the deal doesn't get done
Three years ago if you searched "green ammonia" you'd get one story a week today you get more than one a day
Maybe the delay is because Atome is securing financing subject power and off take on the two further projects at the same time!!
