Burned long term holders8 Aug 2020 19:38
Hi all,
I understand there are many burned long term holders here, personally I can remember buying a large position at 5p only to have to sell the lot at 4.15p. This was some time ago, there are others I have sold at far greater losses only for them to turn at that point when everyone least expected it and to multibag back to where it should have been. Every share has it's time and I think in this case many current holders do not fully understand the significance of the holding in Katoro Gold. Ask yourself this, if Katoro Gold hits 5.5p what value will Kibo's holding be? There is a potential catalyst on it's way and if you are tracking Katoro Gold you will know what that is, do I think that will go ahead? 100% YES! Look at the Gold price, look at the fundamentals of KAT and also observe recent deals and how the share prices responded (They didn't respond by rising just 10%, in some cases over the following weeks they re rated more than 400%) . Also understand how many other corporations are looking at Katoro Gold. There have been others in recent times where multiple corporations have come to the table with multiple offers out bidding one another to seal a JV. Does anyone here really think with the way the world is going Gold will go back to $1000 per ounce anytime soon, which is more likely a move back to $1000 per ounce or a move to $2500 per ounce and beyond? Which is more likely, the financial and economic impacts of Covid19 will finish in 6 months and the world will recover in 12 months or the true cost will take several years with associated quantitative easing?
I shall leave you with this, if you are a long term holder and still angry you have every right to gather other shareholders and call an EGM to effect change. For now consider the following equation alone disregarding everything else Kibo has to offer, if Katoro Gold goes ahead and was to hit 5.5p what value is Kibo's holding?
From my own personal experience the last time there was a bull run in Gold and Iron etc many largely forgotten and ignored small caps suddenly re rated several fold. This is under the radar but not for much longer, the rise the other days is only an appetiser of what is to come IMHO. As always, DYOR!
