The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
the comms to vote has to be the biggest priority for NCYT....18 million votes (for/against...doesn't matter) from here and France is a big stretch....I'll be contacting Mandy to address this.....anyone who didn't vote (unless for health reasons) is a complete idiot !
I've noticed of late, that the sentiment of many so called LTHs switches back forth almost on a bi- weekly basis irrespective of RNS news or anything research based....I've wondered what that stategy could be?.....is it to buy ultra low, sell high and repeat and repeat again and agin to try make up the loss of the last 7 months..... knowing that one day the fundamentals will come thrugh one day for a bigger and final payout....I wonder?!
Yes , to the forward statement from GM could have been more positive.....and a big No to the DHSC dispute...I've worked many years with the DHSC and I know how they operate and pay.....GM could have avoided telling it as it was or smoke screening to appease the real story, but that goes against the FCA/ RNS guidelines.
RBM,
I agree a couple of the forward statements could have been written with a little help from a PR expert....But I do get a sense of honesty in the RNS and most have been excellent....NCYT gets a lift for a week, only to be driven down again by the whack a mole society for any good news (R&D or otherwise) on here....too many agenders going on and many comments are even worth the energy of a response....we'll get news when it materially worthy, true and signficant....positive or negative
Bluelight,
It's the sentiment of the shareholder that has lost the 75% since the start of year....the first drop for PIs was selling on news around January and the 2 other dips came from the DHSC dispute.....NCYT from what I can see weren't directly involved with either. In fact NCYT's effort to repair and save the DHSC has been the right way in dealing with it IMO for current and future business, plus the influence it has in other world markets.
Most SP downward pressure has come from PI's moaning or desperate or traders manipulation able due to low volumes.
due to the nature of my work in procurement, human and animal health I can see that the demand for NCYT is increasing daily.
As the article says, GM is leaving NCYT on an upward path, look at the prducts already selling and the one's about to be launched (expansion of Pathflow), plus NCYTs stock is already ready pushing it out NOW and for the next busy seasons ahead....DA is well placed to sell it to the rest of the world, especially the USA where he has experince already.
Many moan and groan and feel bitter, I can understand this....most of the grinding down comes from traders taking advantage of the volatilty and low volume, plus 2/3 of the share demand is in the hands of the French not Mullis.
"Appointment of US General Manager and set-up of Novacyt US Inc"
I would use investment and build around this potential....uptake is so much faster over in the USA, especially with innovation....then NCYT would hit the radar of many and be stratigically positioned for a handsome buyout.
.......it's time this board got a grip and sorts out it's priorities.....if you're not happy invested here, sell up and move on, stop the personal attacks and keep to the research that's proactive or constructive
this pandemic disaster has hit the world like nothing else in the past 50 years!....whomever thinks that it over and business will stop after this Winter, needs their head looking at....this country can't even prepare for a shortfall in drivers that they could have averted and planned for, yet the petrol stations have run out......and you think we're done and able to manage and plan for the future for variant and all types of viruses to come......you must be having a laugh!
the short, medium and long term is still very much COVID and prevention of future mass lockdowns by correct screening and vaccine development by adequate variant data collection from precise testing is the priority. OK, some sideline projects will happen, but 99% of resources must continue with COVID/ FLU/ RSV for the foreseable future at least....5++ years minimum...whom are you trying to kid otherwise
"Expansion of PathFlow® LFT portfolio with antibody and antigen tests for COVID-19"
Like it's a done deal and ready for release to expand the range.....a simple saliva LFT (for Joe puplic) and a 2nd gen LFT (for Joe vaccine developers).
Should be in the next R&D news that's due soon.....
I can see a run of RNS this week and some overdue R&D news coming out. Especially for LFT business and more crucially WinterPlex....flu is especially virulant already this year and to differentiate couldn't be more important, especially for treatment protocols.
last night popped into my local (Thursday night quiz night)... pretty busy, but OK and everyone in good spirits (LOL)....the landlord at the pub uses a temperature gun on everyone going in...anyone that 38degree + he gently asks if they can go home and test....he explains that he can't afford a breakout of COVID at his pub, not good for his staff and other cutomers...people are very amicable and understanding about it....I suspect most businesses and industries feel the same way as he does.

herd immunity is an approach granted, but the mortality rates with SARS is far higher than the flu....with no lockdown, how many lives were you prepared to sacrifice to reach that herd immunity point?.....screening, containment , variant vaccine development from data collection is all very vital in this ongoing battle.
You are correct 7/8 are the same but hardly a shambles.....also it's a piece of cake to screen shot your holding as a .jpeg and drag in....like the e -signature using a finger or the mouse...all very easy...whatever you choose, just VOTE VOTE VOTE :-)
