NPV represents the sum of the future cash flows discounted to today's internal discount rate. It is the unrisked value; the book value.

The SP represents the Market Value i.e. no. of share x SP = Market Capitalisation. There is a huge difference between Book and Market Value, because the market (normally) gives a premium (anything from 10% to +100% depending on lots of factors) to the book value. With a NPV of +16p I would expect (in this case) the SP to be +30p.

Considering that the recent dilution was intended for the Anchois well, if it's a duster I think the SP will drop like an inverted rocket. Perhaps down to 0.03 and stay there for a long tome until this Mauritania thing kicks off.

I received my allocation today. But my request to oversubscribe for additional rights was rejected. This most likely means the allocation offer was fully taken.

When the RNS to that affect is issued hopefully it’ll drive the SP higher.

Yeah but HOW higher? This is what has us worried.

A bad result from the A2 appraisal drill would be feckin horrific giving the high COS. Let’s hope it does exactly what it says it does on the tin. No wishful thinking here, just a ‘results as expected’ RNS would be nice.

Ditto on low double digit SP after results are released (Jan 22)

After news of the next investment project is released, a wee bit of dilution and then, finally, reports of cash income from Buffalo well operations (to end of 2022) the SP should break +20.

After that who knows? Perhaps +30 heading into 23-24 when ADV becomes a multiple business operations Mcap company . . . it might even pay a dividend going into 2025.

Even if we don't get RNS on Monday night/Tuesday morning meaning the rig is delayed once again, who cares?

Yes I know, they said "expected within two weeks" But if this deadline is missed it doesn't mean that the whole concept is defunct. The drill will happen in due course. Just chillax!

I do accept most of the climate change theory, in that we humans are largely to blame for climate change. But I know that until we create a real alternative to fossil fuels, the latter will be needed. So, I want to make money off its continued use.
