Stateside is where all the action is!

I thought the recent acquisition seemed a good fit for the business, but it seems the Directors sensed an opportunity to cash in as part of the fund raise. Seems to have killed the little bit of momentum that was building here.
Unimpressed with greedy Board, and have followed their action and sold down some of my holding today.

Great vote of confidence with half a million pounds purchase this afternoon, ensured we finished blue.
Great resuts and momentum for the future, esp. the US.
With an 80% increase in Revenue it was a real shame to still report a loss for the period.
I hope they remember that shareholders and the city like to see profits. It's not all about looking after the directors, customers and suppliers.

I expected them to make alot more of their public sector customers during this period.......take advantage of their desperation. That hasn't shown through in the results.

Yes I have taken up my allocation. At a discount to current market price and hope that gap holds. I think this share will be nearer 60p for the interims in early Jan. Good recovery and growth share to tuck away.

Good half page article in the FT Weekend today about the opening up of the US on line gambling market.
Particularly like the statement that William Hill estimate betting revenues of the US market could reach $19bn by 2023.
Talks about New Jersey and how Fanduel and Draftkings have 75% of the market with WH a distant third. The article mentions that 16 betting apps have been launched this year in NJ with Bet365 the latest. They will face tough conditions though as they lack brand recognition.
According to one industry executive, the market is a 'gold rush' for those who can take significant market share.
Keep having to re-read $19bn by 2023. Wow.
