This company says nothing for weeks, then just like buses.....i would no be at all surprised to see other announcements, even late today. this contract makes the financing options even better.
There were still sellers yesterday, which is a worry. it gives the patel's chance before the hearing at that the end of march to mop up just enough. boy will i be gutted if it is simply a stalling tactic. as said previously, by me and other people...DONT SELL
Was profit taking after lunch, but we can all be accused of holding on too long.....me included. but for all i dont see a 50p party, as much as i would like to, as i have said more than once, this is a very flaky share indeed
Already here...
Am holding for 48p, will be up over 10%. should have taken it a month or so ago, because as much as i want to be in the 50p party, this is just so b****y volatile...
First things first. If the powers that be thought this bid had failed, and the company was worth no more than 10p, then the price today would have fallen to…….10p. It hasn’t.
Secondly, the last assay and test figures were deliberately presented, as I said at the time to look very uninteresting. “aw don’t worry shareholders, let us take them near worthless shanta shares off your hands for 13.5 p”.
thirdly, there are big money shareholders here with serious clout. If they thought this company was worth 13.5p, why oh why wouldn’t they have offloaded and moved on??. they didn’t for a reason.
And fourthly, and this is the real state of the board and shanta as a whole. Soon they will have to update the market with correct production and drilling results, and if the powers that be believe that shareholders have been in anyway deceived, questions are going to be asked, with all the legal implications that brings, hopefully. Time is not on the side of the board as we speak. Interesting times ahead, but they are not having my near half a million shares for less that 15p. If I have my way...
You are right of course, there were no more bids, but the patels presented this as a done deal, it clearly wasn't, and 10 minutes in, the share price hasn't hardly moved....
The price will drop, but only short term. lots of money people have already staked over 13p a share in this , and they haven't done that for nothing. now eric and co will have to follow through with a new processing plant and to double production for ALL the shareholders, not just themselves. there ought to be wholesale sackings as this last three months has been a waste of time and money.
That there were no more bids. the board had presented it as a fait accompli, obviously the deal wasn't done at all, just a sleazy play to try and take it for nothing. now let us have some PROPER updates and progress reports. should make interesting reading. dunno what the share price will do...
But more jam tomorrow, apparently. deep breath and hold..................
There is so much pessimism, may be justified, i am still 25% up with the offer on the table, but we have been right royally bent over if they have managed to get the company at this price....fingers still crossed though. may as well let it play out
For someone
That we can talk about Lloyds???
To the next chunky directors monthly salary....
With confidence, but i think the figures have already been released....or a smell of them, makes you worry for a cash call.
they say that the next drill is fully funded, as indeed it may be, but no mention of the ongoing costs of everything else, including the juice monthly directors wages....watch this space...
Can it possibly get worse?
Latest advice....maybe 54 in three days. i will get my hat to hold on to
Do i sell and hold onto a little profit, or wait like i did a couple of weeks ago at 48p.....and get stuffed again, because as sure as eggs is eggs, this baby will tank somewhere along the line. if i sell now i could jump back in.....but maybe a sunday paper share tip will herald the elusive 50p....decisions decisions.....answers please on a postcard..............
Now gone to turd....again. wonder what the afternoon will bring.
Why would you recommend a price so low, when production will be doubled within a year....stink...stink...stink
