It is he sort of ingenious scheme that Andrew Knott is more than capable of designing and would go a long way to explain why Nipco was allowed to invest on such favourable terms. Small shareholders were outraged at the terms butmajor shareholders supported the proposal as reflected in some 99% of the votes cast in favour.

I certainly hope that your interpretation is correct as it would once more let us think about th share in terms of £s rather than pence.

Don't forget at that time North Korea had a new leader fresh from being educated in the Wet (Switzerland) and many people had high hopes of a brighter future for NK, The block contained a large attractive prospect. I think they exited without spending much money - I stand to be corrected on that.

I don't think there is anything misleading about the Zengas posts or the company update - quite the opposite.

AK said there would be bumps on the road and two happened very quickly; otherwise the sp would have been multiplies higher - the risk of dealing in Africa.

May I suggest that personal slurs are not appropriate.

Thanks for your post. I cannot disagree with your comment on dilution. However neither can I believe believe that someone as astute and commercially minded as AK would permit this arrangement unless very confident of a handsome return. I assume he judges the secrecy at this stage is in shareholders' interest. Also he must have carried the board which he has indicative is supportive in general terms. Patience required - we shall see.

I assume you are referring to last week's events.? I know all about that, thanks, but don;t thinkthey are relevant to lackof progress in Niger.

I suspect AK is as keen as everybody else to develop Niger. It is a question of overcoming the obstacles and to try to ensure that investment pays off. I don't understand the 'shafting' suggestion.
