We are going to be gaining a lot of new subscribers once the combined app is up and running being the only music streaming and live video app in the world but we are also going to be taking a lot of Spotifys current subscribers away from them - they should be really afraid right now as it is - if you combine that with the knowledge that artists have had enough of being paid pittance for their work and will see how the Napster brand is being brought back into the mainstream and how they can earn way more money by being on their platform - then that is a very powerful position for us to be in! And by the way I've heard whispers the LG figures are way way in excess of 1 million so have no fear about more gigs like that being announced the future is looking very rosy!

The marketing for the Liam Gallagher gig was absolutely world class... reaching a crescendo with his superbly timed appearance on the Jimmy Fallon show next to Barak Obama the night before the gig and with a preview of the gig being shown to millions of Americans. LG was all over the tv, radio and social media like a rash in the weeks running up to the gig I'm not sure what more people want on that score!?? They havent the money to be throwing around mass marketing campaigns and the reliance on the artists pushing the gigs is a masterstroke imo.
