Finally FRR looking like they will be proving up an asset, ud2 was always dusty and never going to happen, but, as I have said from the start, the oil is VERY likely and could will be the game changer for FRR (finally). These chips are very cheap with the current news flow and a producing asset , in my experience and opinion this will be at .9 come end of September! Take care

For Zara to give meaningful figures, so we all know the gas is a dud but flow rates on the oil is needed ASAP, RNS wasn’t great, could of given an indication and stop dangling the carrot. There is going to be a bit more pain before this rises, the oil will flow and the sp will rise, but until then possibly .38 on cards then a bounce! this will go back in the drawer for a few months take care

Ratty it can still be a wildcat, even if it is an Appraisal well! Could well of been dusty but they took the chance, and ok a far from great result considering how it was ramped pre and during drill but it wasn’t a complete failure, it’s still vital cash in the bank as oppose to nothing. I’m sure it’s the progression of the Chinese asset people are after, I’m sure many, including myself, will base any decisions on the outcome and progression of this.

They wouldn’t have said that imo, if they did that it would have kicked the ar** out the SP and they wouldn’t have got away with the placement at that level, hence dangling the carrot! I agree it has flowed but I really don’t see a com sustained rate being upheld, what they could of done if they believed it would flow commercially is given an initial flow from the well on a higher choke whilst continue on production test and evaluating the data, but they didn’t, which makes me believe they couldn’t gain any sort of sustained flow at that level and knew that once it came to production they would have to lower the choke and it would produce sub com, so didn’t disclose! The decision re the gas imo is based on current finances, if the oil is a goer especially creeping up $100pb then this is a game changer, once the company starts bringing in cash and proves up an asset the market sentiment will change along with the MC as the SP rises and he may just change his mind on that, unless a buyout of course! who knows, as you say red or black!

Bongabob, you been smoking the funny stuff again, if you could read RNS spin you would know, I have said all along T-45 is likely to flow and I do believe commercially, UD-2 not so much, will flow on a high choke but not sustained, once the the lower the choke for sustained rates the depletion curve will be too great and it won’t stabilise at a com rate!
