@nordell thanks for offering some words of encouragement. I actually decided to go ahead and top up but it turns out the funds I requested will not clear until tomorrow so looks like I've missed the boat.... Still they'll be available should it retrace again.

@smyth thank you very much for the kind words. Not even being gently made aware of the forward gas prices could manage to sustain us at the "massively" oversubscribed offer price!
It does make you wonder, what are we missing here?
As i've said many times something just doesn't feel right and I keep telling myself it is just because of being caught out in the past with placing's from chariot of old e.t.c e.t.c but there is still a niggling doubt which (up to now) has stopped me from taking the chance to average down.
However in saying that I don't think there will be a better opportunity than now to do so, with the caveat of not knowing where the bottom is of course.
Hmmm might be time for me to take that old trusted decision making method that is the "toss of a coin".... heads "top up" tails "don't be silly now" ;-))

@smyth totally understand how you feel but if you're in profit I would hold tight. Sadly I don't have any choice as I am sitting on a five figure loss so will have to sit it out. The question for me is, am I brave enough to try and average down with the limited funds at my disposal..... Past experiences tells me not to but on the flip side there might not be a better opportunity to do so than now.... Decisions decisions, anyway all the nest in whatever you decide to do.

Although in saying that I am not sure if volume suggests it is!!! Hmmmm :-{

@smyth I understand and share your frustration and I have my "niggling doubts" as well however nothing has changed so I suspect this is being driven by traders.

@nick yes it is disappointing and it is possible the general market conditions have not helped either.

@nick it is looking like the support has gone, I had thought/hoped it may still close above the 18p but that is looking quite unlikely now.
Still it presents a buying opportunity with the only question being when to pull the trigger?
Perhaps smaller purchases would even out the average price paid as opposed to waiting or trying to catch the bottom.

As I have said many times, as soon as you post something which is not a "ramping" type post on here you come under attack/scrutiny, just ignore and keep posting as you wish.
If veteran wants to take your post as a buy signal that is entirely up to him.....

@nick maybe nordell will see your post and pop in and share his thoughts with us.
We only finished below 18p yesterday so maybe too early to suggest we have broken the 18p support, wait and see wheat happens today and in the coming days. Trader's will make the most of this volatility and will trade accordingly so that will increase the buys/sells.

@nick I am not sure anyone can answer that question definitively, you will just have to watch and see what happens. However if you're confident in chariot the fundamentals have not changed so it could offer an opportunity to top up.

@AJ Whilst it is minuscule I have long given trying to calculate by how much my shares have been diluted as they have been diluted that often I am starting to feel like a glass of orange squash :-{
I previously mentioned my concern about about kwasi carcrash so no need to go there again.
I just hope there are not to many more "positive" deals which lead to further dilution of my holding and I sincerely hope when/if we get the gas it is more concentrated than the shares :-|

If it was a "positive" the share price at the end of the day certainly didn't reflect it with us finishing below the solid support we had formed @18p.
Here's hoping we can finish above 18 tomorrow and it's just a wee blip.
Onwards and upwards, hopefully with no more director's dealings further diluting us weary shareholder's.

@Jimmy regardless of how long he has to keep them he basically acquired them at half price so it is not exactly like he is taking a huge risk, and i'm sure there will be a clause written in that ensures he will be adequately compensated should we be taken over.
Like Smyth111 I'm failing to see how that makes it a positive RNS, as whimax rightly pointed out the only positive is that he wasn't selling!!!

@whimax (tongue in cheek) a bit like saying it was good news for the old lady who was mugged in the street, as they only stole her handbag and not her jewellery ;-))
