@Jammy Dodger ah okay, I thought it was perhaps a technical term and you had seen something in the chart that signalled a change. I didn't realise it was just the article you had already mentioned twice, three times now thanks to me asking. Sadly, the volume traded so far doesn't look like it is going to give us the rise we hoped for, just yet.

@Gooner totally agree any positive news/rerate is welcome, but the more cynical side of me wonders if it will just be a "love em and leave em" aka "pump and dump" spike for the traders than an actual sustained rise.
Either way time will tell and we will soon know which it is to be.

@Gooner absolutely we have gone from a "fast follower" under Bottomley to a "first mover" under Pouroulis oh how things have progressed over the years ;-))
But one of these days "possibly a Friday" we will awaken to a RNS telling us the "jam tanker" has arrived......

As I have said many times unless you are spouting "this is going stratospheric" or such like you will come under attack on here. You're not allowed to point out despite some major news over the past 3 months the share price is still at the same level, again Girdz/ICB888 it is a fact not a "deramp"

@Gooner who knows where it will end, some think we will be taken over but there is not enough of the jigsaw pieces in place for that to happen, others think we will go it alone, i'd be happy either way if we could just see a bit more volume to suggest there is real interest, as this flatlining doesn't sit right with me, given the resources we have and the huge demand there is for them......hmm it's all just a bit of a fuster cluck :-|

@Jimmy That is interesting if not somewhat perplexing and It certainly is frustrating, but can't help but feel that there is more than enough information available for those in the know or even industry experts to realise that this "appears" to be an "absolute steal" at these prices yet the volumes traded suggest there is no such uptake.
I appreciate my views are likely still being affected by chariot of old having been on this journey for a very long time and I also know we are now pretty much unrecognisable from chariot of old, nonetheless there is still a niggling doubt for me that something just isn't quite right.
This morning's price action doesn't do anything to reassure me either :-{

@Jimmy23 Do you ever ask yourself why there seems to be so little appetite for chariot when you see the potential profits from the calculations you have posted above?
As you know i'm by no means an expert and have never proclaimed to be but would it not be reasonable to say despite the recent news flow the volume traded is still very low?

7th of September - Pipeline Tie-in Agreement Signed in Morocco - share price - 18.95
9th of September - share price - 19.60
Everyone of them surely had the potential to move the share price yet there is practically no movement since the announcement on the 9th of June.

Which kind of sounds like "Jam tomorrow" to me, which is exactly the point I was making ;-))

Yet when I mention my disappointment at the very same thing you are suggesting I should sell up?

@ICB888 It may well be 209% in the last year but that still does not give an answer to the concerns I mentioned which I am sure I am not the only one to have, or been disappointed by.

@ICB888 Here's hoping you're right, however it feels like "its always just round the corner" I think it would be fair to say quite a few thought the confirmation of resources, myself included, would be the catapult we needed, and it wasn't, then it was the much expected news flow before the AGM that was going to be the catalyst, and sadly it wasn't, will the "jam tomorrow" be with us anytime soon? Sure hope so.....:-}

Sounds like a little patience is required as the different elements are coming together.

Appreciate the replies, it's always good to hear differing views and not just the same old same ramping ones this board seems to attract most of the time.
Jigsaw appears to be coming together but there are still risks with the current economic/market/global conditions and a takeover is possible/likely pretty much sums it up.
More patience is required, shouldn't be a problem for us hardened long termer's.... ;-))
Some say if you look up "patience" in the dictionary it just shows you a wee picture of a weary chariot investor looking longingly at the bottom drawer where the share certificate's have been for many years.....
