@surfit Totally understand the sentiment of being wary about averaging down but I have decided to give it a go so fingers crossed we hear something positive (long) before the new year.

Nice wee rise later in the afternoon and from a very, very inexperienced eye I think we finished above the 20 and 50 day MA which as I understand it is a good thing, but it was on low volume so perhaps we shouldn't get too excited just yet.

Lets see what next week has in store for us.....RNS anyone? Aye that would be nice ;-))

@Bouncy Apologies, if I have misinterpreted your post.

@Bouncy My earlier post very much said the same with regards to rampers/derampers and private individuals losing out as a result of their posts and whilst there is sound logic to "being greedy when other's are fearful" on occasion you also have to err on the side of caution, more so with the penny shares as in the past there has appeared to be "institutions in the know" before any announcement/placing was made which was then reflected with the selling and ultimately the share price movement and "being greedy" on any such occasion would have been a mistake, however in saying that it is maybe not so much the case with other markets. I also said in that post I hoped our days of that are over so I am not implying it is the case with the current share price languishing at these levels.
As for the likes of H&L, A J Bell e.t.c "being afraid" I am not sure I agree with that entirely as they surely would have higher risk stocks (as they see it) in their funds, such as Chariot, offered to clients who opt for a higher risk fund and I am not so sure they would be looking to sell down at such a time, when as you say "be greedy when other's are fearful" but what do I know, not much, just my thoughts/opinion.
Seems like another quiet start to the day but the price appears to be holding up.

@Surfit There's a lot of points there to think about but I sincerely (maybe naively) hope the days of information being leaked are over.
Ever the optimist (ahem who am I trying to kid) I do think/hope we may not be too far away from the bottom at these levels.
And it is Friday tomorrow.....Chariot (used to) love's Fridays ;-))

It is good to see "what appears to be a flurry of buys" you never know we may even manage to finish on a positive today!

@Veteran I had a look over an ADVFN when I read on here about what was being said over there and was shocked by some of the utter nonsense being posted!
It put the squeaks/growls of our Trolls to shame. I just hope they can and and do take some sort of action over it.
Sadly I fear it is just part and parcel of the share forums where these type of user's post such comments to install fear and panic causing some to sell up at a loss and drive down the price so as they can get back in at a lower price themselves "derampers" at work basically.... Seen it many times, having said that we are not immune on here from similar tactics from probably the same type of users "ramping" although they have been fairly quiet of late, perhaps they have moved on to another stock.....squeak squeak growl growl.

@b4gpiperinvestor It's by no means an easy game dabbling in the stock market and it seems like you've not had the best of luck, but hopefully things will come good for you eventually, market conditions have not helped by any means though.
Tongue in cheek moment, in a weird kind of way it does offer some sort of solace to know that I am not alone with a very full bottom drawer!!! I could only dream of an average of 13p and averaging down takes some conviction when you've been disillusioned from chariot of old but I'll maybe just have to pull on my "big boy pants" and pull that trigger ;-)) Here's to a better end of the year and beyond. #ChariotIsTheJamOfTomorrow ;-))

@b4gpiperinvestor Chariot and bottom drawer is a sentence I am very familiar with ;-{ But one of these days the old gal will come good (hopefully) and we will be able to pry open that bottom drawer and dust of the chariot share certificates and set her free....I am slightly wary about what will be my last top up, the plan was 15, then 14 but part of me now wonders if it might be better to hold of until we move back above the 18p level as I see that as some tough resistance but I am by no means an expert on said things and as such have made some top ups in the past that were not very well timed.
Ah, the home extension a task that more often than not does indeed turn into a money pit especially just now with the cost of building materials being so high, but I'm sure it will be worth it in the end once complete ;-)
Hopefully we will have a RNS soon that can help reassure us all, as this longer periods with no news tends to make way for the trolls and derampers and can make for quite an unpleasant time for us genuine long term holders who are not traders.

@b4gpiperinvestor I didn't top up today, I was going to but I had a "wobble" as I started thinking about "old times" and how I promised myself there would be no more funds put in here! But think if we see the 14's I will pull the trigger (I know we're practically there it's a psychological thing) and if we don't that's okay as the funds can go back in the "emergency fund" as she hasn't noticed they're missing yet :-0

@Gooner absolutely couldn't agree more I think a lot of us thought the confirmation of resources would be the catalyst and it wasn't and since then we've been told that Total Eren are partnering on the hydrogen side of things followed by the pipeline tie in agreement and yet here we are languishing. I appreciate the general market sentiment is not good at the moment but surely that is the very time to be "loading up " if confidence was there. The share volume certainly doesn't suggest anyone is filling their boots at the moment..... I know, I know what we will likely hear is "patience is what is required"
As I said recently I think 18p is going to act as strong resistance and be difficult to break through as it was quite strong support on the way down. So we are going to need a decent RNS to propel us to the next level.
