Theres a chance the 1 mill seller could be a shorter. I wouldn't want to accumulate that amount of shares as a short to get caught out anytime.. but your right dip stick... they bring out these updates and the chances are slim to get any solid contract news shortly so good chance to keep shorting. Were find out when news hits and there are some humongous buys.

Anyone with good AIM experience... there will probably be more shorters on this market than any others due to there being potentially more weaker investors trying to get the big percentages. And easily getting swayed. It's a shame we cant find out the amount of shorters on each stock. From what I remember there has to be a certain percentage of shorters for it to be shown?

When you read this it really makes you think were in a good position and surely something will happen shortly. EQTEC is making good progress and 2018 is shaping up to be a promising year for the Group.  Management expects to sign contracts and subsequently start design and construction of at least one waste-to-energy gasification facility in the UK as well as another project overseas with a total capacity of ca. 18.5 MWe.  These two projects are in a well-advanced stage of negotiations with the clients and the EPC contractors.   In addition, the Company has recently started work together with Cobra on two identified projects and negotiations are ongoing to obtain exclusivity over these. The total power of both projects is ca. 35 MWe. EQTEC is also working with different partners at a set of three projects in France and two projects in California (USA), with a total power of the projects of ca. 8.5 MWe.   EQTEC also expects to start the manufacturing activities in its ongoing project in Poland later this year, where together with the Group's partners at the POLYGEN Consortium, EQTEC aims to produce bio - Synthetic Natural Gas (bioSNG) in 2019.  This will open a new vast market opportunity for the Company's EQTEC Gasifier Technology which will be used not only to produce syngas on a power and heat facility but also to produce clean and renewable fuels such as bioSNG, which will be injected into the grid.

In addition, EQTEC, together with its partners RAFAKO and EXERGON, is working to deliver a solution for a second project in Brooke Energy's pipeline. The Company will update the market as appropriate on developments regarding this second project.   Reliable projects, two projects in the UK   During 2018, EQTEC and Energy China have been working on the engineering of a revised scheme for the application of EGT coupled to a steam turbine instead of the previous scheme of coupling to a gas engine. The shift to a steam turbine is because initial indications show an increase in the projected returns of the project. A future benefit of this revised scheme is that the additional engineering work will enable the Company to compete in a wider range of projects. There has been a delay on the projects due to the change of configuration of the power plants. The Company now expects to conclude the contracts and start construction in Q1 2019.   Catfoss projects   In the longer term, EQTEC has two earlier stage projects, Catfoss Newcastle and Renewables (Catfoss) Hull, in the pipeline in conjunction with Energy China. These projects will be developed at a later stage.

No disrespect rufus.. but you've only been here for a few months.. and we know why there were 100 posts a minute. I'm glad that doesn't happen any more, but will obviously return when theres good news. And dealers right be good to post good knowledge regarding eqtec and the current situation for the tech.

I've just seen this on the bmn board but applies to us too. Labour is forcing a vote in parliament to declare an environmental and climate emergency, following mass protests over political inaction. Like you daddy this is why I invested here too. All we need is more government backing to push companies like eqtec. Does anyone know if we are competively priced to similar companies out there?

I will have a look into PHE later. But thanks for sharing your research dip stick. I wonder if the guys at eqtec knew the similarities of the research note compared to PHE before parting with shares, or they were annoyed when they found out. And yes I'm not happy either with no evidence of the amount of shares acquired. You can imagine them giving more than 2 million shares! That's a big pay day for forming the research note. As most info was already out there they just had to organise it. If it was me I prob would have sold them straight away too just to get the money. They have to pay their overheads like any other business.

So a 50/50 on their view of the outcome of eqtec. But I think your right on they must have knowledge on potential contracts etc that we dont know. How else could they come up with the numbers?

Yes it does sound good... but as we all know the aim is a joke to be in and traders like Oracle aimer and investor love it because the chances of getting a contract every month are slim so the SP will just get manipulated. I'm not a trader and dont want to be but I think it's the way to play this market. Look what happened to BMN similar thing here after the rise we had and it's cut the SP in half for no reason. But their prospects are 100 times better than here. I was always told the stock market is 2 moves ahead and values are determined on potential but I guess that doesn't happen in AIM. But like apple said as long as your invested before it kicks off you have a choice with how you want to play it. I think on next contract I will be slicing a 3rd of my holding.

Nice to see your still here redundancy! I think everyone's patience is getting stretched a bit now. But I'm still here dont have the value of house house invested tho..... how many shares do you own?! Haven't heard from Peter in a while... you still invested?
