Gasification technology supplier Eqtec’s financial results for H1 2018 have revealed progress on its Brooke Energy UK project and details of work on a second facility. The results states Eqtec, together with its Poland-based partners Rafako and Exergon, is working to deliver a "solution" for a second project in developer Brooke Energy’s pipeline. However, no further details were revealed with the company saying it would update the market "as appropriate". The company also said the Usk Project, which it is also developing with Brooke Energy in Wales, is "expected" to reach financial close in the first quarter of 2019 with the purchase contract "executed shortly thereafter". The facility is due to process about 42,000t/yr of wood waste and have a capacity of 6.4MWe and was known as Zebec Energy. So I wonder when they stated work on a second plant maybe the court trial was to do with that?

Where did you find that? It was a long read and i scanned through it.. but that outcome wasn't in favour for brooke. But this piece stood out to me. Notwithstanding these responses, the Government decision was to increase the power efficiency threshold to 20% again. The “Government response to consultation” stated: “The Government recognises that, while a 20% power efficiency may not be achievable by all types of biomass-CHP plant, setting it at this level better manages the risk of over-compensation compared to the costs of building and operating the plant and the benefits they deliver.” 24. The resumption of the 20% threshold was effected by the Renewable Heat Incentive Scheme Regulations 2018 (“the 2018 Regulations”) which came into force on 22 May 2018. Applegarth what do you think?

The Phoenix deal was stated end of Q4 and contract was announced on the 15th jan... so JB is right we really have to give him 2 weeks. Also yes the interviews have been a bit dull but I'm hoping it's not to prolong keeping faith. We have to remember since IP has been CEO he secured and got the Phoenix deal. I'm sure this will come good and we get the news were expecting but our patience has been stretched long enough now. I feel when it and (Hopefully does) we should all meet for a beer to celebrate :)

Investor they only appeared towards the afternoon.. nobody will see what they've written and buy when the SP has dropped from 1.8 to 88 in a few months. Hands up if you think amigoes are embarrassment... especially luther who hasn't said a word in months about how he can't believe what's happen to the SP and then just states... Multi bag city right here... like they've been saying for nearly a year

Does anyone think Brexit maybe decisive on this project? It's odd how they moved it back from last year to Q1 2019 when Brexit was supposed to happen. I honestly hope we hear about it next week. You can't say end of Q1 then not hear anything about it. Or ar least an update saying brexit or whatever reason is a factor.

Renard I'm in the same boat as you and probably most people here... were only guided and hoping the information given that it will come through. If your down on your investment if it makes you feel better I am again 5k down from being 14k up when we hit 1.8p. I have a feeling this will come good but no one know what will happen (apart from investor, who didn't come back from my comment to him earlier) But I honestly feel now is the time to make your money while the SP is so low. We should hear about USK this week or next. It's a educated gamble but isn't most shares? That's why we do it right?
