What I find laughable is although we have appointed administrators they have no control over the running of the subsidiaries only the plc which has 6 employees and is the guarantor of the debt. Ummc are also stumping up $36m for the directors and administrators efforts to get the sale pushed through

If anyone can get anything for the shareholders now it will be the Russian retail investors - see point 59.

This I’m was going up because there was talk of selling the Russian shares but it looks like the Russians have extended the ban overseas selling banking and energy stocks.

I don’t blame anyone for me putting money here. I said from day one it was a binary bet - boom or bust. Well today confirms it’s a bust. Never nice to lose money but health and happiness always before wealth.

I’ve read the judgement and It looks like neither bod or Strukov did anything wrong.

Ummc got the debt and threatened to take the subsidiaries via court in Russia. This way at least the bond holders are getting paid and only shareholders have lost.

If the shareholders reject this offer this is dropping below 0.5p - probably why people selling. We need to just accept this offer. We have put up a good fight but unfortunately the assets in Russia and we are screwed. The bastards made us spend our money proving up the resources and they are now going to come in and make billions.

This offer at least allows closure for people. We take a loss and move on. The original offer was just maintaining the lifestyle of our BOD with staged payments , with a depressed share. Someone will make a fortune but sadly not us.

Even if there was no war I think this useless Bod would have found some other way to screw us.

Patshare - nothing has changed in respect of shares. They split the shares into 25 then got rid of 24 so net result is still same number of shares but nominal value is now 0.01p.

You can only do placing at a minimum at nominal value. Because nominal was 0.25p they wouldn’t be able to do a placing.

Now they can do a placing but it all depends at what price. If they do it at current price or below it’s a lot of dilution and would there be any takers? My feeling is they will need to get price up on some good news if they are going to get a placing. I think likely placing will be at 0.1p in my opinion but as usual dyor

Same number of shares and selecting 0.01p means that's the minimum price they can do the placing at.

Crikey mate, they’ve not invaded anyone yet. It’s just a bit of sabre rattling. In 3 days it will be back to normal. The Chinese will learn from what makes happening to Russia and they deffo will not want to be bogged down into a never ending war. It’s easy to invade a country but you can’t hold on to it if the locals don’t want you there.

The last two trades from yesterday and the two trades today there’s only 1800 shares difference between these them. Is this just a trader who has got bored and exited?

Just seems that whenever there’s any pressure to rise it gets dampened by sells.

I’m not invested but hope for those who are that you get something out of it.

At the moment this looks dead in the water but if they manage to get traction on a project this will rise.

If dilution does happen that is not a bad thing as serious investors won’t put money in unless ROI is in their favour. As usual Fomo will set in and those investors at these low prices will derisk their shares. Just need to be savvy and do the same when opportunity presents itself.

OEX as a good example of this - looked dead at 0.06 then went crazy and has been as high as 0.5. Fallen down again though lol

Agree it’s not great. I’ve got an average of 1.7 and thought that would be safe but every time it ticks up the seller comes in and takes the price down again sigh.

The rns’s promise so much but it doesn’t get reflected in price. Seems like the market has trust issues with the bod and want to see concrete proof of royalty deals before moving up.

All seems contrived to me so will hold for time being.

All joking aside I think this is typical aim share - people sell on news and then the cycle starts. We need proper concrete news for this to boom.

Sorry to be a pain but I can't find anything that says Strukov is a shareholder. As far as I can tell UMMC is wholly owned by Iskander Makhmudov. Seems to be well connected Oligarch as has avoid being sanctioned. Even now it's the CEO of UMMC that has been sanctioned and not him.

This would explain the two bids, once from UMMC and the other from Strukov.

CWWX - not sure what to believe. There seem to be an article that said ummc have gone to court to get the subsidiaries declared bankrupt then why would they be putting a bid on at same .

If both ummc and strukov are interested then thought there would be a bidding war when you consider what’s at stake. Making sure shareholders get a couple of pennies to keep everyone happy but as it stands it looks like their offering pittance
