NZGreen, what metrics are you referring to specifically? KOD has two land holdings in Mali; 200km2 in Bougouni West and 109km2 with the Diendio project (and in addition, collectively has rights to 800km2 in Mali total). MLL has 100 km2 with the Goulamina project so on that measurement, it's not "much smaller".

When it comes to other available metrics, from the looks of it we're not comparing mines at the same stage in their development cycle. Goulamina seems to be in the situation where 100% of the resource is in the 'indicated' category with an estimated 16 year lifespan. However KOD's Bougouni West resource is 55% indicated with a minimum of 8.5 year lifespan (which if we were to assume the 100% it would be 15.5 year lifespan).

I doubt KOD will beat MLL to production, but we can all dream can't we?

We're approaching the promised time for the lodging of this application. Will this promise be stuck to?

jamesroo I would hope that this is a sign of BA not taking us for granted, however 1 bit of news in a long while does not remove my pessimism. Here's hoping we'll get the submission done by January.

With 2019 almost over, I think it's time to look back at the more 'amusing' points of the year. I do recall quite clearly a recent departee assuring us that KOD would be in production by the end of 2019; and that if we disagreed we 'idiots'.

Which will come first, this feasibility study or the heat-death of the universe?

There are two primary reasons why you were criticised as a "scaremongering deramper".

The first is you keep mentioning terrorist attacks taking place hundreds of miles away from KOD's operating areas and asserting that this is going to cause a major issue for KOD.

The second thing is that you keep coming back after supposedly selling your entire holding, to inform us LTHs repeatedly that you've sold your entire holding; your actions are quite characteristic of a deramper. Like most people, I buy and sell shares all the time, I don't go back to companies I've sold out of months later to inform them that I've sold my holdings in that company.

As well as these, the idea that your observations about terrorism in Mali is the cause of KOD's current SP demonstrates that you haven't really been paying much attention to the RNS' (you also have a far too high opinion of yourself as a market participant).

Finally, to head off claims of being a ramper; LTHs in KOD will remember my repeated clashes with GFD over his ludicrous assertions of "production by '19" (among other points of contention); I am a plain old investor, but I'm not afflicted with the delusions that some have expressed in this bb.

Looking back through the RNS and related media, I have absolutely no idea how GFD thought we would be in production by the end of 2019. I can't believe the slime he hurled as a result of the suggestion that he might be wrong.

We have an overdue submission of the ESIA and we're expecting to submit a feasibility study by July.

Is there any chance we can end this nonsensical back-and-forth?

Daz, I'm greatly confused how you can assert that BGS is the superior investment given (among other things) it's history of board resignations and thereby pretty poor management, an average resource and sluggish development.
