Though a JORC may be around the corner, you have to take a look at the history of this company and the macroeconomic environment that the world is currently in to understand why the SP is where it is. If you are invested in this company to make a quick ££ post-JORC, I'll say that this company is the wrong one for you. The true value of this company will be realised in the medium to long term.
As for the SP on JORC-day and the motivations of MM's, that can only be ascertained once the JORC results are out. If, after we've had a chance to do some analysis the SP doesn't move much despite good results, we can then speculate on activities behind the scenes.
