Frontera Resources - Stock Re-registration update

Earlier in the year we wrote to holders of Frontera Resources Depository Interests to advise that the shares were to delist from trading in the UK.

As the shares would no longer be trading on a stock exchange supported by Interactive Investor, we advised that they would be withdrawn from trading and ISA accounts into client’s own names following receipt of share certificates from the company’s registrars.

Whilst the share certificates have now been received, we are still in the process of establishing a mechanism with the Texan registrars for the stock to be moved out of our nominee name and into the name of beneficial holders.

We will endeavour to continue with the re-registration, but as this is a complex process and we are reliant on a third party, there may be constraints. Therefore, the stock will remain in your account until we have further information from the registrar.

We will continue to keep you updated.

Frontera Resources International LLC (Frontera), the offshore company selected two years ago by the Philippine Government for the exploration, production and development of hydrocarbon resources in the south of the country has not carried out any activity in the Republic of Moldova. He also argued that this agreement with Frontera was also signed in the context of the Government's efforts "to achieve energy independence in the coming years, which will be reflected in better energy prices, but also in avoiding any geopolitical interference in Moldova".

Former Minister of the Environment Valeriu Munteanu also said that this project will allow our country to find out what energy resources Moldova has in the basement and could reduce its dependence on Russia.

It is worrying though that a potentially multi billion pound company has given its PR Services to a company that's been dormant. Is it to cut costs?

Not a good sign that Trident are invited but no one from Frontera. I get the feeling FRR are not going to win, unless they partner up.

Anyone know when the ADR deadline comes to an end? (Was a 3 month timeframe). Hope under pressure to get a deal or risk loosing the lot (Hope has no idea on the outcome of GG arbitration).

Zaza possibly anounces arbitration settlement with GG (end of October- as alleged in recent article), maybe arbitration is just a ploy to get hope out first.

I'm seriously confused on what they're after. Fact is in the QA session in Oct/Nov (link to YouTube posted on here few weeks back) he was very confident on deal being done sooner than later and wells were being worked on/ tortured by Majors.

Also the 3.5 billion dollars , lost profits, doesnt suggest to me that it's the whole block affected. But the cynic in me says this is how we lose the block, but then again why is hope after shares?! (Maybe GG pay a billion in compensation which is paid out as dividend).

I wish the company just clarify matters, really is getting rediculous.

I think the ball is in FRR corner. The final decision is to be made by 12th Sept.

FRR need to make a convincing case that they've made a spectacular success of Georgia and to prove the doubters that they have the expertise to do the same in Moldova and Ukraine.

They need some sort of news before 12th Sep IMO. Unless, they need more time hence, call in the lawers to ensure more time is allotted for the tender process.

Are we about to get a flurry of news within next 6 weeks....

As has been mentioned previously, this is still binary. Seen it before where a company was very close to production after yrs if investment only for the assett to be removed. (Arian Silver).

However, FRR is high profile, big politics involved, any sniff of corruption and theres big trouble.
