and it has on sales of 9000 shares it falls 3.5% knocking £21m off its value.
Doesn't make any sense. This share never ceases to amaze and usuaally not in a positive way.
Still holding long term but what is going on as this reminds me of the old 1p days

It's just as likely to fall again today; again on no news. Frustrating company but one that could really be going places

I still wonder if being in Mexico is having an effect. The headline in the Economist was "the finance minister's abrupt departure worries investors" Well worth a read but this sentence stands out "it will make economic management more difficult at a time when growth and investment are faltering." Might not be related to that but it certainly isn't a sunny background to Fres operations and they already have been hit with a request to pay more tax which they complied with.
I hope not as this is in my SIPP and I was slightly up last week!

Thanks for posting that. It's a thoughtful article that poses the question that has been asked on this bb when the news broke. I guess the key question is how much would it be worth broken up and what deal with existing shareholders get?
Having been stung by Flybe I dont always believe that these people have our best interets at heart but that may be too cynical a view of Elliott.

Doesn't look like it. Rumblings about the Mexican president attitude to business are rising again so I wonder if that backdrop isn't helping as well as the rerate for tax purposes Fres told us about. Certainly I can't see any direct link with the silver price but that may be just the way I have put the two together. Would be good to know if anyone else has done it.

Lots of advertising on the radio and my local travel agent is holding a Saga day to promote the new cruise ships so they are clearly trying. Long way back to my 74p however

Neither do I. I topped up on the last good news and saw the sp fall from 7.9 to just over 6. TG's track record suggests this will be fine eventually but these short term reactions are baffling as this can't be profit taking as might have happened with the last rise. Why bail out now?

Since the last set of results we have fallen by about 20% so someone didn't like them. Allabit perplexing

I find it hard to disagree with anything written there including the effect HC might have had on confidence. The numbers will ineveitably do the talking but I am happy with a p/e of 10 and while you are right in highlighting oters that are higher I have some that are lower so at this stage I wouldn't argue with it. If IDP gets into serious growth mode then it could easily rise and we would be in £2 territory. H1 20 numbers key but we shouldn't ignore H2 19 as they will show how the summer has done. Holding but slightly impatient and frustrated. GLA.

very disappointing to see a drop of nearly 4%. Shows trust and confidence has yet to be rebuilt though I guess there was some profit taking; but even so.

Don't think we could have expected much more from these results and yet apart from the initial surge the sp has barely moved. Caution given what happened with HC and his shares last time or just a general lack of interest? Still below my average so I am going nowhere but disappointing reaction all the same.

The sp drop late yesterday and again this morning from the opening is baffling however as it can't seem to hold any gainms regardless of the amount of good news. GLALTH
