Incredibly small volumes and yet nearly a 10% rise. Consolidation was meant to end this roller coaster but better 10% up than down. Will it continue in 2019. Let's hope so as we await the next set of results

I think the thing that bothers me the most is that we have fallen by about £4 a share - and continue to drift down on a daily basis - without a peep from the bod. I am not anti the bod in any way and believe we have the makings of a successful company after all these years but would have expected some comment if only the cliched " we know no reason etc". The lack of it makes me wonder if there is a reason yet I can find nothing to show why it should be so dropping or shouldn't. Next results will be the determinant I guess GLA and Happy and Prosperous NY to us all.

If the company was starting now then what you describe is optimistic but it has a poisonous legacy of debt and previous woeful management. All we need is for the bondholders to chuck in the towel and we are gonners. I hope not, for my investment but also as Avanti has an operation here in Cornwall and could play a key role in our blossoming space sector. News of continuous, significant profitable trading will help and it does seem the new bod are really trying to take the company in a realistic direction but it is still red or black iimhobwtfdik.

I would never advise anyone on what shares to buy, sell or hold, but if the OXB can continue on this path and become increasingly profitable as a manufacturer rather than a research company then yes there should be better times ahead for the sp but wdik. For the record I am holding though disappointed to see us below the consolidation price.

If you can believe this and they are a reputable bunch it seems then it should be a good one but after 15 years I am not holding my breath.

Some time ago Mayfield, Sage and I were having a discussion about Newquay slots - close to Sage and my Cornish hears. After some more reserach this is my understanding
The Heathrow Slots are the use of what is called Remedy slots which have been vacant since BA acquired BMI and are ‘owned’ by a Trustee who governs their use. These are now designated to the NQY route so they can’t be used for any other service. In time they would become the ownership of flybe who in theory could deploy them on to another route. However the PSO protects the use of the slots for NQY so they are secure for the duration of the PSO. When they come to tender the PSO again in 2022 it will be done on a Heathrow basis as opposed to what it is now on all 6 London Airports. The Green Paper on Aviation published this week by the DfT refers to this and PSO key to Heathrow expansion so we should be comforted in that.

There were a couple of buys at 3.39 but the bid has been at 2.66 all day. This is still red r balck imho and it is not worth selling at these levels

The UK Government has renewed flybe.'s Newquay-London Public Services Obligation (PSO) contract, Transport Secretary Chris Grayling has announced.

Speaking in the House of Commons, Grayling said flybe's new contract would start on March 31, 2019, with up to 4x daily shuttles services to London Heathrow replacing the current 3x daily London Gatwick flights. flybe. was awarded a four-year PSO contract on the Newquay-Gatwick service starting on October 1, 2018; the transfer of the route to Heathrow will be executed within the framework of the existing PSO rather than under a new contract.

I agree but look at the spread with bid at 2.66 and ask at 3.39 that is about 25%. Also the volume is timy. Wouldn't be surprised to see it readjust. I also can't find any news to back up the increase. Not deramping as some good news and arise in the sp is needed as I am as under water as most on here I fear. GLA

Gold holding its own among today's market carnage as are one or two miners so not surprised to see Fres up a bit. There is usually a flight to gold and silver in uncertain times and we seem poided for those by the bucketload. Like FG it might be time for a top up. GLA as I think we will need it
